I drive a modern diesel mercedes c220cdi , and put £3 of vpower E5 petrol and then put £40 of vpower diesel in ,drove it home and did the research , I didnt sleep after reading about the damage potential , I got up and went to the fuel station and brimmed it with vpower diesel , and continued to top up when the guage gets down to half full , been doing this for a month now , my question is when will the petrol be dispersed into the diesel , so i dont have to keep the fuel level above half as the fuel lines are low in the tank ...appreciate your response .....

Put 3.8 liters of petrol into a 70 litre diesel engine. Put 1 litre of 2 stroke oil and filled up the last 50% with diesel. After driving a while I stopped and then the cars acceleration got out for a bit and a stop sign came up. Emptied the car of people (7) then test drove it and it was fine. I’m shit scared it will happen again
