Natural tendencies? Scrape it, pull it, wire and bend it, snip it, … not entirely sure that’s its natural tendencies but I still enjoy it.

The artistry of bonsai is very much a "trust the process' activity. My heart jumps every time a branch is removed but in the end, when allowed to recover it was always the right move.
