cream did this great song originally and it was great but i feel deep purples cover of it here is even greater with the great john lord on keyboards ritchie blackmores licks are better than claptons on this one and rod evans is a fantastic singer

This is fantastic. Cliff and the Shads became famous in Iceland through their films Young Ones and Summer Holiday. We had not heard the beginning of R&R in Britain 1959. I later discovered it and I know now that Cliff was the first British R&R-er and The Shads the first R&R-band there. When I was 9 in '57 I saw Tony Crombie perform in Reykjavik (thanks to my mum), but they were not real R&R like Elvis. Cliff and the Shads were.
