Try only using Monuments (if they use mana, you can also use the syphon and bank) but you can't end the video unless you die, or every tile has something on it. You can use the endless mode as well as the other mods you use to achieve this.

Update - I just beat Normal with a projectile/earth tower that had over 4k damage and 15.52 attack speed. I wasn't originally trying for the 1-tower challenge so I also had a support tower (rain/frost) doing slow but it honestly would not have been needed. Level 163 when I did that, and no points in the level 10 skills (on the progression tree) yet. It's the Excalibur item that buffed damage so high +650% damage after 500 kills and I had two of those things ... hilarious RNG luck.

Ok, I watched it all despite telling myself not to (I’ll try a different tower combo so I’m not ‘copying’ 😜) - I think the stats showing 2 towers is possibly incorrectly seeing that item tower as an actual tower. You definitely only built one 👍

Watched a bit, going to resist watching all of it until I manage to do this 1-tower challenge myself - actually thought of trying it before finding this vid. Anyway, cheers for the Crystal Guardians content, I played the demo ‘a lot’ before buying the full (early access) version. It’s such a fun game 👊🙂

On my first attempt for level 100, Guardian Angel, I killed it before I even saw where it spawned. I think there may be some game mechanics that you're not realizing.

@@WiboActual So I just beat Hardcore 2 lane, and have everything unlocked. What I do that's a bit different than you is that I restrict what towers have crystals, and I prevent towers from killing enemies. I focus on one tower type, get it to level 20, stack all buffs and batteries on it, then make a copy of that tower and move it's crystal to the new one. That way I can have Rain towers with max slots, or projectile etc. I've noticed that you don't lean into Rain that much, and let me tell you. . . rain with stone damage crystals can be OP as all hell.

Something to consider is you could have extended the bottom left route first due to it being able to hit early game and maximise the enemies through that route (when it splits). Also trying to maximise the spreading of enemies that come in may [but not sure] be done by split ville

Nice to see the bosses close up. I have beat level 100 about 12 times now. Your videos and tactics with projectile towers and earth crystals has helped a lot. I actually feel the horse raid is okay, but level 60 wizard club can be hard.

Ya the wizards are rough but I think the horse raid is just a little too strong for how early they come.

You're totally right about the Horse Raid, I remember they already got nerfed multiple times since the demo and early versions, because they used to be EVEN MORE unbeatable! Not sure what those horses are getting fed but I want some of it too lol

Ya definitely can next time. The items that were bad during that run were dot (Damage over time) items because the frost crystal has -50% Dot. Good items for that run were crit and raw damage. The Frost crystal when maxed already gets 75% crit chance so only one item to get too 100%. If you have any other questions please let me know!

Today I beat normal with a single rain+frost tower. Already done it with the ‘classic’ projectile+earth and also a full electric tower. Arcane is potentially ridiculous due to being able to constantly cap out attack speed at 32 on consecutive kills.
