Would you recommend putting a breather filter in te oil cap? Until I get around to putting a catch can? As gm ecotec v6 commodore engine you have to take the top half off the intake runners and tap a line into existing pcv valve? Its a common problem with Aussie gm L36 ecotec v6? I had that issue last summer fixing my 07 3.2L Dodge Caravan. Had 7 weird faults I just didn't figure out. Put my scan tool on and the inlet air tep showed 242 degrees Celcius. Thinking that might be on the high side I bought the last sensor they had at my parts store riding my bicycle down. Carefully put it in the rubber inlet duct. All 7 snags went bye-bye forever. Kind of weird/ very satisfying. Still have the old girl. 301,000 km on her. Doesn't burn oil and idles like a champ. I bought a 2023 Corolla Cross as a backup. Just in case. 3,000Km oil changes. for over 17 years.

They communicate with the ECU so that engine runs efficiently. Otherwise, it won’t be silky smooth drive😬 would you like if your car starts shaking suddenly while having a nice long drive with someone special😅

Can we use throttle body cleaner to test for vacuum leaks by spraying it near suspected areas to see if rpm changes?

My vg30 has the same problem. It's super over fueling. Lots of white smoke at exhaust. But doesn't smell like oil. Only smells like feul. And idles rough. Maybe I should check pcv valve? Or what yall think. Plz help

Could be several causes. First check your coolant level. Did you try smelling exhaust?

My engine rpm is fine at idle. But if i Rev the engine to around 2000rpm plus it suddenly fluctuates up and down. On elm32 graph, it shows up and down repeatedly.

Did you check throttle body? Any codes on scanner?

@@AutocornerdPros no dtc codes on scanner. The vehicle is maruti suzuki EECO. The vehicle doesn't have any problem while running. If i press the throttle at idle and rev it to under 2k rpm, it works fine. The moment it crosses 2k, it starts to go up and down. I came to know about this issue during emissions testing since it was not able to hold 2k rpm steadily while testing.

Never clean MAF sensor with brake cleaner! Get dedicated MAF cleaner.

I agree, brake fluid will harm the MAF sensor. Use only proper sensor cleaner.

oxegen sensor before cat could be bad it controlles everything same with map sensor

Very good point. To add, if i may, newer vehicles also use secondary (even tertiary) oxygen sensors to control mixture. Newer Land Rovers have known “third” oxygen sensor faults that will cause either a lean or rich mixture. They’re not just worried that the cat is working, but will richen mixture to increase catalyst temps to make the cat work more efficiently.

I tried change the plugged an wires i coudnt brake em loose in less I put a cheater pipe on them an still had to put lot effort bust loose ant never seen that tight should I let a shop do it r do I keep proceed n any suggestions be greatly appreciated thanks ✌️

I have a toyota camry 2018 se 2.5l I have misfire cyl 2. Code and also random misfire I believe p3000 I have new fuel pump and filter. New Injectors.. new spark plugs. swapped coils to check if it changes to different cylinder code. Checked leakage for valves. Good. Intake sensor good. MAF sensor is good. Haven't checked compression. But when I disconnect cylinder 2 while misfiring it doesn't change meaning seems that exactly still the area where the problem resides. All others (1,3,4) when disconnected cause it to misfire even more.. I do also get engine power reduced sign on dash. May my 02 sensor for any faulty reason possibly be causing my ECU to think it's running rich or lean and be causing the random misfire and the specific cylinder 2 misfire?? Without popping up a 02 sensor code on OBD 2 scanner???

@AutocornerdPros It's the grammar... bad English. It's kind of distracting. And it's 'Blow-BY', not 'blow-b'. The people that are here for the info can still get it, so don't give up! It was a well made video with good visual clips. Maybe use a grammar check app if people keep complaining.
