You can tell from the first 2-3 min of interaction, especially right before they start interviewing each other, that they never stopped being friends. Bullshit and ego and pride just got in the way

(and this compilation was put together before those games were released) but, any details introduced to the story after MGS4...those are completely pointless. at that point, the devs were just thinkin "they keep making money...lets make another."

see, it's interesting, people always say never climb a tree to get away from a bear, I am guessing they specifically mean black bears, but even still, I have always thought that it's a decent strategy if you have no other option, the bear then has to commit to climbing a tree, and you likely can yell and go crazy up there to scare it off, especially if a black bear, while having time because the bear needs to climb the tree occupying most of it's weapons, including weight an impact on charge, etc, so it honestly seems like a good option, when of course, you have none other. I always thought that specifically, if you jumped into a tree from a cliff, the bear would be very very unlikely to be so predatory that it goes around the cliff and down below, to then climb the tree, cus it aint jumping like us humans would...this has always been a worst case escape idea for me lol.
