It's ok for you to have different expectations that we do. We simply don't tolerate disrespect and that's the issue with this workamping job. Not just to us, but to all of the staff that was there. As far as our truck and trailer, definitely nowhere close to a million dollar rig. But that has nothing to do with it anyway. Most fueling stations aren't designed for bigger trucks and trailers and can become a safety issue because they don't have the clearance to be able to get in an out. Where should those trucks fill up? As far as holding things up, on the truck side, things move very quickly. We weren't holding anyone up. And why would I be able to get a fleet card to use those pumps if I wasn't supposed to be using them? Thinking that we all need to be divided by x, y, or z is where things fall.

The area around the steps could be revised, same with the Velcro opening under the front cap. The sticky Velcro ended up moving or coming off when the sun hit them and warmed up. The Velcro needs to be stitched on the fabric so it doesn't come off.

Also wouldn't cut around the hatches. Just lower the point of attachment and save some time

@HayesHumbleHomestead But all in all you'll are pleased with the results? What about snap button those openings, do think that would have made a difference? I am also wondering if you made an opening to drain your tanks?

@@shakirthankful1 snap buttons would work as well. Our only concern with that is that it would have left gaps for wind or cold to easily enter but if you placed them closer together it would be alright. We did cut a flap for the sewer to run out and then just used some of that foil tape to seal it off for wind and cold. Water run underneath and electric was at the rear above the skirting so it wasn't an issue

Not sure if the technical terms but they have the fluffy yellow feathers when they hatch and then they will lose those once they get older and get their adult feathers

It probably took us 4 days or so dealing with rain and what not.

There is some play with the schwintek slides so no issue there. We did this as a preventative measure and did not have any problems with the plates in the 2.5 years we traveled with this trailer.

No we never did in the three years we ran it like this. We did tear out the carpet on the inside though and replaced it with vinyl but nothing structural.

We use this for all of our chicks, layers and meat birds alike. The stock that you're pulling from and their nutrition plays a large role. If you are starting with good, hardy parents then yes this is a great boost to your chicks. If you're starting with subpar stock and nutrition then you are already battling uphill. I personally would absolutely still give it, but please don't think that any one thing is going to somehow make your chicks healthy if they aren't to begin with. I'm in no way implying that your chickens aren't in great health. Simply sharing that these are a few of the things we do to ensure healthy and robust birds.

I feel you on the terrible temp stove. Ours is so finicky too.

Well we could but we don't have power anywhere which means we also have to have a solar panel everywhere we put those. Also we don't have a notoriously long winter. We only have about 3 weeks of really cold winter. So the money to invest in tank heaters or bucket platforms is a waste the majority of the year. Our area is hot and humid and that's what we build around.

The cows have a barn to get out of the wind and they honestly aren't really bothered. The snow on the back is a good sign. They are keeping their body heat in!

He thinks he's a dog. The dogs spend most of their time with him and he'll stay right with you if he's not fenced.
