I rode up in the cab of a 1952 RS3 V12 1600 Horsepower Naturally Aspirated Alco Locomotive 8223 on the Adirondack Scenic Railroad in Old Forge New York back in Sunday September 30th 1997.

Sweet video. My late Grandfather was switch man for SR for 40 years. As a young boy, he would take my brother and I to the hump at Norris Yard to watch trains being built.

Why is the 493 ahead of the 488? You can't really stick the larger K37 in front of a K36...

TFN5459 even though the k 37 is bigger, the k 36 is heavier
