as a long term customer and lover of BMWs over the years. This one is a big ugly mistake!!. I do love tech and gadgets, but the idea of everything being in that screen is a bad idea. Some things are best left as buttons and dials eg. the vents etc. So if the screen fails or is non-responsive = added frustration to the driver. I have my 2nd 128ti - which, still looks more beautiful than this. However, could see some of the things BMW have removed to make it more plastic. From what I can see with this model is that they have literally made it look cheap and plastic all over with no real character! BMW dashboards had a charm to them...sigh..sadly not quite seeing it here.... Those 3 threads do not help either - who the heck thought of that! grrr sad times :( rant over. It is v1.x so I hope in a year or more there will be drastic improvements.....

Sadly the power and torque figures are too low, and driving the front wheels is not ideal. Why are there no petrol offerings in Australia.

It is actually a Volkswagen ID.4 and is licensed to Ford exclusively in Europe for now. However, if Aussies prove their enthusiasm for the EV, Ford may extend their cooperation with Volkswagen again, like they are doing for the Volkswagen Amarok.

They stopped offering the bright theme in the United States. You can only get the version with black mirrors and no chrome. I don't care for that look.I will keep my 2022 model.

ford aus have never ever tried to actually sell the transit to tradies in aus. i have visited 3 diff ford dealerships that were atleast 25kms from each other and to get a consistent answer and actual looking at and test driving stock in aus has been unbelievably difficult. i could get a renault trafic or ldv g10/v80 10 times over compared to actually dealing with ford aus.

BYD has been around in Europe for ages but just started hitting the Australian market. I test drove the hybrid front wheel today and it was beautiful. I’m deciding between BYD and Tesla model Y🤔
