Nice list but also visit the Museum Of Jurassic Technology in Culver City and then spend some time a few blocks away in the Hayden Tract to see the many amazing works of Eric Owen Moss

Hi, Thanks for watching the video. Please visit their website to reserve the tickets. stahlhouse.com/ However I just checked. It seems like all the tours were sold out all the way to July. Per the website, August tours will post during the week of May 6th. Thanks,

Christ Cathedral (formerly the Chrystal Cathedral) in Garden Grove is worthy of a visit if you happen to be in the area(Disneyland?).

Thanks for your suggestion. That is on my list to visit. I saw that they renovated the Cathedral recently. It looks awesome!

@@torandmeier I think you can use the word 'sublime' to describe its interior. Also, by visiting you could view the works of architects Richard Neutra and Richard Meiers located on the same campus adjacent to Philip Johnson's Cathedral.

Did you seal the cardboard with anything?
@torandmeier
@torandmeier 9 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching. Yes, I sealed the cardboard with resin. The downside is that it makes the cardboard edge quite sharp. I had to put a piece of cloth between my arm and the guitar body while playing it. 🙂

As part of an Architectural Student Tour in 1974, our class visited this the Robie House. Two things that I retain to this day, (1) the juxtaposition of this extreme example of Prairie Style Architecture in an urban setting with high-rise buildings all around and (2) the 10:00 AM light streaming through the light screens (windows), the prismatic light dancing in the air. A magical experience! Thank you for this video clip!

Thanks for sharing your experience. I felt the same thing. As an apprentice at Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture for a short time in 1997, I've got to visit several houses designed by Mr. Wright and also lived and studied in both Taliesin West and Taliesin in Wisconsin. I felt that his architecture touched me at spiritual level. I still remember the citrus smell the first time I arrived at night at Taliesin West and all the lighting. It was also magical.

@@torandmeier such a minute percentage of our built environment enhances our physical experience with our daily lives. The great outdoors seems to succeed on a more consistent basis. Mr. Wright, an American genius, gifted us with a tranche of spectacular, three dimensional art which touches our soul.

As I watch your videos, even if I am standing in a windy field, I am not lonely. Even after a long time, I will always remember your videos deeply. It feels like the KZfaq world is running into a rough field. I think I met your video at the end of that hill where a rainbow brighter than jewels lives. The moment I watched your video, the first feeling was very good. I think you will be happy in the morning because of your video today. After watching your video, thinking about it now, your video came to the depths of my heart and instilled emotion and happiness in me. As you have worked hard for your dreams, I hope that your channel will gradually develop and become a very big channel. As the algorithm introduced, I just looked down and saw your video. KZfaq seems to be a backpacking trip and a long-distance marathon going far and far alone. I am so happy to have met your videos while I was living on KZfaq.

There’s something unsettling about “floating” a stone wall out into space. The structure is obviously supported by steel or cast concrete and that should be honestly expressed by the building’s exterior. The Japanese love and skill with lumber is a good way to express the truth about structural support.
