I recently bought a spinnaker watch and no matter what I try clips, nails and even my local jewellers couldn't remove the pins.

Thanks much... I kept asking the men around me if they knew how to remove the links and no one knew and I didn't wanna go pay to get it done so I finally did it myself with ur video assistance. Hit my dam finger, but it was worth it😂😅🙏🤣

Any tips for pins that just will not budge?
@sven89572 ай бұрын
Yeah sure, in the video, the guy gives it 3 quick easy taps, and the pin just slides right out, in pristine condition. Here in real life, I just spent hours with a hammer, pliers, vice, glasses, bright lights, magnifying glass, two sets of jewelers screwdrivers and various types of pins, and I can't get ANY of the damned pins to budge. I eventually mangle the hell out of the watch links trying. When I do FINALLY manage to get a pin out (by accidentally mutilating a link) it's bent like a pretzel. And when I try to put not one but two pins back in, they both split in two I finally managed to get a bent split pin back in place, and like some kind of demon hell spawn, it defies all physics and keeps popping back out again. So what was virtually impossible to get out before, now keeps jumping back out on its own, no matter how many times I hammer it back in. I finally threw the damned watch away and ordered a new one with an adjustable band for $21, which is what I should have done in the first place. (The fact that I was working with a women's watch, with smaller pins, might have something to do with this.)

why does it look so much easier when you do it?! also I have a glasses screwdriver like that and it's about 47x too big so I'm guessing my watch pins are a lot smaller, which I guess would be why it's 47x harder than you make it look but oh my god, I am infuriated now. FUCK SONOFABITCH I HATE WHEN SHIT DOESN'T WORK AND I AM PISSED OFF NOW FUCK.

Well I’ve tried everything and none of it works.. that pin isn’t budging. Nothing even fits in the hole where the pin is so I give up 🤷🏻♂️
