I'm thoroughly enjoying this fantastic tribute. I had the absolute honour of meeting Kris Kristofferson. These people sang about trying to make the world a better place to live in. Compared to the absolute lack of any kind of sense, songs that are being played now. They didn't play the shows so they could live in mansions of marble and garish chandeliers. They played to shine a light on the plight of the hardworking people. I am sitting in my armchair in my house in Ireland. Today is 26th of July 2024. I would love to know what Johnny, Kris, Wille, Waylon and Merle would think about the caffufill going on now in the country they loved and took so much pride in. You wouldn't have heard any hateful rhetoric from any of them. They wouldn't stand by someone who is trying to bring hatred, violence, and bigotry. All for their own selfish reasons to be the ultimate dictator, just for the power and glory of being able to control the lives of the people who he wouldn't wipe his feet in. Hopefully sanity will prevail and people can still make choices about their own bodies and make their own decisions. Please vote for the right person. 💙💙💙💙💙💙🇮🇪 🇮🇪 🇺🇸 ❤ I also meant to say thank you for uploading the show. Wow so much talent in one building. All singing the songs of a genius and poet.

See on nii totter, et lausa naljakas. Eriti see rohelises ülikonnas sell. Mida ta seal võimles, aru ma ei saanud, aga ega kõigest ei peagi aru saama.

There' s only two bands I could listen to and never get tired of hearing. The Mavericks are one of them. Every show they bring it. Been fortunate to have seen them four times live. The best one was up close and personal at a club called the Longhorn Saloon yrs. ago.

Johnny just had a way with words. One of the few musicians that never made a bad song. Even when he tried with chicken in black, it was still great. Miss him. Need more people like him in this world.

ALL OF ELVIS'S " GOOD MUSIC WAS MADE BEFORE THAT IDIOT COLONEL TOOK OVER HE TOOK OVER ELVIS'S MANAGEMENT. BY THE WAY THE COLONEL MADE HIMSELF AN EQUAL PARTNER AND PAID HIMSELF 50% OF ALL MONEY THAT ELVIS MADE. THE COLONEL ALSO PUT TOGETHER THE USELESS GROUP THAT EVERYONE CALLED " THE MEMPHIS MAFIA"

Paul Burlison has no idea what he's talking about. Scotty Moore said in interviews that Elvis actually suggested to him and Bill that they split all the money evenly, but Scotty told Elvis that wasn't going to work, and that Elvis, as the leader, should take twice the cut that Scotty and Bill would take. It was the Colonel's idea to put the band on salary later. The colonel either never really thought much of Scotty, Bill and DJ, or he felt they were somehow a threat to the control he had over his client. He was always pushing for Elvis to use "professional musicians" in the studio instead of the core group. He even put the breaks on the side project "The E.P. Continentals", conceived in about 1957, which would've been an instrumental group consisting of Scotty, Bill and DJ, with Elvis on Piano for the recording, but no vocals. The plan was for them to play as their own opener at shows(minus Elvis on Piano most likely) and do maybe 3 tunes or so, before Elvis came on to do the main performance, making the show a completely self contained double-act. The Colonel hated this idea and put an immediate stop to it.
