That was a great conversation guys. Looking forward as always to next year’s race. Has there been any thought given to adding a 4th stage to the women's race, which will perhaps make it more attractive for more Women's World Tour teams to make the long journey south? And it would be great if Canyon//SRAM is on the start line in 2025, with young guns Neve Bradbury & Zoe Backstedt in the team.

Hi @GC_Iceman - Thanks for watching 😊We recognise there is more to do to grow the women's race. In 2016 we introduced the women’s race and since that time, we have been on a path of incremental growth. The growth has been across all areas of the race, including UCI status, event delivery, media, broadcast and more. We are proud of what has been achieved to date, including the race gaining UCI Women’s WorldTour status in 2023. We recognise there is more to do, and increasing the number of women’s stages is a goal for the future, but like any organisation, we need to work within our budget to maintain sustainable growth. This year the Race Direction Team have created longer stages for the women’s Santos Tour Down Under to continue to challenge and push riders 😊

Incredible cycling event Santos with such experienced cyclists 🚴‍♂️ and picturesque cycling conditions 👏 a very steep descent down the mountain.

How useless is the Santos TdU when it takes them over 24 hours to get the highlights of THEIR OWN race onto KZfaq? It speaks volumes about what a piss weak attitude they have for cycling fans everywhere when they think that free to air television in Australia will suffice for domestic viewers, and that is their main audience, while they brag about their international event. More bullshit from the politicians of S.A. while an environmental rapist green-washes itself for a population servile to their "law and order" whims and built, from the beginning, from exploitation.
