Why should I improve my driver rating in Sport Mode when I don't play Sport Mode at all?

This one was on GT5 and GT6 if memory serves. I hated it initially but it was damn fun with a 4 cylinder or inline 6, light race car. Viper was insane, braking points are all wrong for cars with decent acceleration, 400HP or less, this track is fun.

I tried racing in this car on this track, but you told me to pit on laps 3 and 6. What I should do in order to do that is set to Fuel Map 6. In fact, since it will rain, I have intermediates and heavy wets. I'm still playing this game, even if I already finished it. Here's my better and actual setup for this grind. 1. Get a Chevrolet Camaro SS at Brand Central. 2. Install the front body kit at GT Auto. 3. Install some racing hard tires and maybe some intermediate tires and heavy wets as well as all 3 weight reduction kits and buy some racing brake pads and racing discs. Get a fully customizable computer as well. 3. In the car settings, make sure you have your racing hard tires on. And make sure you have a fully customizable computer. Set the aerodynamics on the front to the maximum of 120. 4. Head over to World Circuits for the World Touring Car 700 race at Le Mans. 5. Set the fuel map to 6 at the beginning of this race. You could set the fuel map to 1, but I recommend setting it to 6. 6. Keep an eye on the MFD (Multi-Functional Display) Weather Radar. Sometimes, it will rain on either lap 2 or 3. I recommend you pit at the end of lap 2 for some heavy wet tires. If you feel like it will rain very badly, put on some heavy wets. If you feel like it will rain normally, put on some intermediates. If you feel like it will rain very lightly, just keep going until lap 3. Once you're done pitting, keep your fuel map to 6. If you are still on fuel map 1, set it to 6 immediately because you might wanna pit after lap 5. 7. By the time you get to lap 5 or 6, you will have to pit again after this lap. If you think that the track is dry, grab some racing hard tires. If you think that the road is still wet, keep the heavy wets. You could go for intermediate tires. 8. If you get hit, or just go off the track and hit something, just restart the race. 9. When you're coming up to the final lap because the Endurance countdown timer is getting closer to zero, just get a lap's worth of fuel. You could top up the fuel to the max if you want to. I recommend fueling up to the max. 10. Just keep going and try this race over and over again and repeat steps 5-10. Don't forget to give the Camaro SS an oil change and a car wash. 11. If a yellow flag comes, you must listen to it. Don't ignore it, or you will get a penalty. You don't want that now, do you? I hope this helps.

There are so many dirty drivers out there and it just makes such a quality video game a little bit annoying online

The single car I put the most miles on in the game. It's killing it in 600pp, 700pp and 800pp. On Le Mans on fuelmap 4 for 3 laps per tank in around 3:40 per lap. 600pp = 844hp 800kg SH/SM (no wall riding on Tokyo) 700pp = 975hp 800kg RH 800pp = 1203hp 800kg RH

Yeah, unfortunately we have some real dirty racers. I blame stuff like need for speed for it. It was actively incentivized to race like garbage and cosplay as wheeled missiles more often than not.

I didn't think you'd find one that quick. If only they would spend half as much time on their race craft, they might not need to be dirty anymore
