Excellent work and video presentation. I built this kit in the same markings gear down and the ZM, A-1J posed in flight and know the effort/talent that it takes to build them. Great kits. There are reveal videos on my channel if interested. '409' has a weathering as if drying from a land base wash in preparation for media photos for its role in shooting down a MIG. That is why there is no exhaust stains.

My Skyraider will hopefully be on today's UPS truck!! I was part of the Marine Detachment aboard the Intrepid for Intrepid's first Vietnam deployment in April, 1966. VA-176 was one of our 4 attack squadrons aboard. I may have touched this very plane !!! One of my duties was the XO's orderly. When Capt. Brown was up in the island, it was a thrill being up there watching the catapult launches and recovery's

No, most of color using is AK Real Color and 3rd Generation Acrylic paint, I think only the Olive Drab, I use Mr. Hobby paint. In AK offical site, they have convert sheet

I ordered this model a few days ago and just got the shipping confirmation. After watching this I'm even more excited about building this aircraft. I have some reference photos for it too. I photographed a sister ship to this plane some years ago. Great video, waiting for the next ones! If you want to let the both side of wings moveable, you need oil for the poly cap, if it too tight, it may broken the axis of the wing.(one side of my model that axis is broken)

Is it possible to complete this without using an airbrush? I’ve never airbrushed before and it’s way too expensive for my budget

Maybe, but I don`t know, I think I use Air brush about 8 year, I don`t have some good idea or advise about use brush. maybe you can use spary paint for the fuselage

I built 2 of Tamiya's Beaufighters in 404 RCAF markings. They were good, a little overhyped in my opinion. I would definitely like to get the Revell kit.
