I am utterly convinced that JB can never, ever, not be a professional, polished singer. He puts so much lovely emotion into this old, old song that I feel like I'm hearing it for the first time ever. Such a wonderful, wonderful singer he is!

Wow! John Barowman singing excellently as always and in MY hometown. What a treat. Maybe one day I'll get to go back to Salford and see one of these proms myself. And now I hear the BBC are moving into Salford too. I have great memories of singing round Salford pubs. Never had anything like this!!
