When the almighty MITI granted Honda permission to build a 360 kei class utility truck. It oddly used a ball bearing high revving DOHC I-4 engine. Then later when the S-360 sportscar was put on display all started to make sense.

The Interceptor or "Gods own " car is the stuff that Aston Martin owneres can only dream of . The design shape and reliability of the American mechanicals seduced the likes of Sinatra , Cliff Richard, and many more top celebrities who wouldnt even spit on a DB5 /6 or DBS However , to buy one today is one thing , but to buy a modded car such as what this company is offering , scares me to death if components used are not recognised by the Jensen parts suppliers such a Martin Robery . If this company folds for whatever reason , where are you going to get that spurious part from ??

Yeeeeep,.. they buy you a classic, gut it, charge you a fortune, and leave you with a car with less then half the resale value of one with it's original driver train. Anyone considering doing this is a fool. If you want modern reliability out of the Interceptor, rebuild the Numbers Matching MoPar Heart and fit 'bolt on' Holley TBI and Ignition, you'll end up with more torque then the LS can make, have less emissions then stock, AND retain your cars value. 6:00,... really, a square screen,... that looks ridiculously bad, from placement to finish to just not complementing the rest of the instruments.

I bought from Peter a 68 fastback, manual, 289 V8 holley carb etc. It's fantastic, like nothing else, evocative, iconic, instantly recognisable by everyone and an event to drive, mines not a show car I'd describe it as very good condition but not pristine, equally paint is pretty cheap, mechanicals are pretty cheap and readily available (UK suppliers as well as many US suppliers), there really are no barriers to entry from that point of view. I am totally and utterly in love with this car and I drive it a lot. Peter is brilliant to deal with and if you are thinking of buying a Mustang I would recommend him to you.
@darcyvanwyck63722 жыл бұрын
Yep that was me. Started my search in 2020 and landed a gorgeous 68 mustang pro street in march 2021 as I said you only live once and now living the dream. I have no doubt that if I had not found that specific car I would have hands down bought from Peter. This guy is as passionate about his cars as he is his customers and service. Legend! Great video gents thank-you! Darcy

I am an audio scientist and I am very interested in creating THE BEST car audio system in the world, based on 5-10 sensors placed around the car, to record the audio of 100ds of ferrari's and porshes and every kind of car from the driver's perspective, and then to have a 5GHZ processor reprocessing that information and to generate huge bass and charming car sounds for today's EV's the issue is that we would have to use a gear switcher button, so that the driver can change gear sounds when he wants... I think a cool audio system should be available to drivers, that would have 20-40 amazing car sounds going through sound metric processing to sound as fun as can be.

A Jag motor would lower the value even more then the LS does.
@stringer-ik1pc2 жыл бұрын
@@PiDsPagePrototypes nope. It would make it more of a 'classic British' car. The British cars fitted with American power plants are considered not 'Thoroughbred' and rather crude.
@PiDsPagePrototypes2 жыл бұрын
@@stringer-ik1pc Really? Must be a UK only thing. The rest of the world knows the best combination for a 'Sports' car, is British Chassis, and American or Japanese motor. Regardless, fitting ANYTHING other then a Chrysler Big Block, will lower the value of the Jensen, as that is the powerplant the factory chose.
@stringer-ik1pc2 жыл бұрын
@@PiDsPagePrototypes they chose it at the time (1960s)as there wasn't much available at the time. The American car market is mostly for the 'domestic market' the rest of the world don't buy American cars for obvious reasons.

Sadly China dictates the end of use of all combustion cars worldwide. Chinas boss Darth Xi told all politicians that they wont do any business with underdeveloped countries that still allow CO2 emitting traffic, airplanes or combustion based industry after 2030...I am sure USA and UK also will be forced by China to 100% electric traffic because today no industrialized country can afford sanctions by China...:-///////
