10:15 - Maybe the law is different in the UK but in Australia you must give way to any vehilce AL READY in the roundabout. If that is the law in the UK then the van did nothing wrong because the cammer entered the roundabout either after or at the same time the van entered it.

6:33 Here's what you need to know. If you need to change lanes take a quick look over your shoulder to check if another vehicle is in your blind spot. It ain't rocket science. Not sure how you knew she sped up if you didn't know she was there but I suggest that she was trying to get out of your way. She had a choice of speeding up, hard braking or be hit by a nutter who didn't check their blind spot.

6:33 prime example of the cammer thinking they are in the RIGHT because they turned on their signal. We all see how every OTHER cammer says to the perpetrator with a turn signal on: Your signal doesn't give you permission. Blind Spot violation.

Today Kyle (hopefully) learned why we leave a gap between us and the vehicle in front of us, Lucky 8s (hopefully) learned that sometimes people quarter of a mile away will cross your lane, Jefe (hopefully) learned not to drive at excessive speeds, and Scott (hopefully) learned that he shouldn't change lanes without first ensuring the lane is clear. In reality, of course, none of them learned a damn thing - they all think they're in the right.

10:14 you were wrong, especially how you illegally passed that car and went to opposing traffic almost hitting another car at the very start of the video. And the van was ahead of you regardless and none of the cars ahead of the van stopped so there is nothing proving there is a stop there, mean while there are dashed lines in front of you were it switches over, which indicates a yield line to me.

4:33 They did have ROW, you can actually see them move to their right to avoid a possible collision with the cammer, for being a dumbass by not yielding. They actually predicted the stupidity of the cammer and adjusted for it.

It used to bug me when the people who were in the wrong would honk ... I'd think "why are you honking? You are the one who screwed up!" But the reality is that a lot of people, when they are scared in their car, the first thing they do is honk. It's not blame, it's just an electrical projection of "Eeeek!"

6:33 - Another cammer blaming someone else for his own dumb mistake...imagine that. If she was in his blind spot, and he didn't know she was there, then how would he know that she sped up to pass him when he signaled the lane change? Both cannot be true at the same time. Either he knew she was coming to pass and changed lanes into her anyway, or he never looked before changing lanes.

Police won't do anything. Better to contact the trucking company directly. If they try to hind behind the "road debris, we're not responsible" BS, tell them you'll file a complaint with the DOT and FMCSA and send them the video, then follow through with it. Then just file with your insurance co and force the trucking co into subrogation.

What JP said, and contact your insurance company. Had a truck do the same thing to me, filed complaints, but my insurance company responded quicker and just cut me a check for the windshield and paint job and went after the gravel company on their own.

@@artificialstupidity6518 Had the same thing happen to me, only I contacted the trucking co first. They told me their lawyers told them to deny all claims. I asked what their lawyer would say regarding their drivers not completing pre-trip safety inspections and properly securing/covering loads. And would they like me to call the inspection station that their driver was headed towards to complain about a certain truck dropping chunks of asphalt all over the highway? Got a new windshield courtesy of the trucking company.

9:20 maybe instead of reaching over to honk, you could have instructed your son to slow down considering how much faster than everyone he was going. Speed limits aside, you drive to conditions, if traffic is all driving under the posted limit, its for a reason. Youre not exactly teaching him how to drive properly and defensively, apparently youre okay with him driving offensively.
