These dancers lack the technique to be competing at this level. Look at former winners.

Tessa, Amber, Melanie and Maya are ballet dancers i just found on YT..all from Master Ballet Academy❤..i don't even know what to say other than they are all insanely talented..i danced for 15+ years under principal dancer from Zagreb..she was strict, demanding but i learned a lot from her..unfortunately my back injury stopped my dancing career and i am in medical field now..the amount of hate, judgment and criticism these dancers receive on social media is mind blowing 🤬 bitter, jealous and mediocre ppl are the ones hating the most..uplift fellow dancers, don't drag them down with your own insecurities 😡 BTW keep politics and religion out of ballet..there are plenty of channels where you can vent your hate🤬

Everyone is talking about them being unsynchronized and needing more rehearsal time. Give them a break, they work incredibly hard daily, and this was during Nutcracker season, so it's a double or even triple workload on them. Besides, they were phenomenal!

@@Summer-wp7ye The problem is that going on pointe when your legs and feet are not ready can be dangerous.

May I ask why, or the historical reference on why the girls are expected to tear up their feet to go ‘on pointe? The boys seems to be able to craft the same art without the same expectations of being ‘on pointe’?
@annechu22733 ай бұрын
idk if this answers your questions but back in the days men were usually doing more floor work and jumps, while girls were suppose to be more graceful and there was always a desire for women to appear weightless and floating hence the pointshoes
@ritawing10643 ай бұрын
Now, of course men are going on pointe and women do huge jumps!

en pointe gives the ballerina extra height... therefore added depth to the performance
@Yopjo2 ай бұрын
That is the way the sport is, you dont like it or are not willing to meet that requirement then dont do it, they like it and are willing to do so that is why they are there, also doing point is fun, if you are saying this you probably never have done it or dont even like ballet.

I honestly got emotional watching the Russian section from this angle. It was so clear from EVERYONE dancing in that section that they LOVED what they were doing. They put everything they had into performing it, and you could tell that all the rehearsal leading up to it allowed them to throw their entire selves into it while still maintaining perfection in their technique and timing.
