@@kennethgoin628 You didn't hear the jet until it passed you because of how sound travels and the Doppler effect. Most engine noise is directed behind the jet. The Doppler effect changes the sound frequency as the jet moves. This is normal at airshows and doesn't mean it broke the sound barrier. For a sonic boom, you'd hear a loud "crack" which is strictly prohibited over the mainland US. I've heard a sonic boom from a Falcon 9 before and I was at the airshow last weekend, it most definitely wasn't a sonic boom. Hope this clears up your confusion, please use Google instead of being completely misinformed! 😊

Yeah, the good ol' days! Camcorders, bad PAs, and fatigue all played a role this day. The PA blew up... much of what you're hearing is cranked amps! But thanks for seeing through it. Noel Ouellette is one of the best Tate impressions I've ever heard. There are glimpses of that in other video clips.

That would've been very cool! This was a last-minute decision for me so I had to grab what I could get for seating. It's no highlight, but wouldn't you know the frogman jump accident was almost straight ahead of me. I know enough about sky diving that I was panicking before the accident even happened. The separation was way too late for the chute to recover, something I've seen other divers fall victim to.

@@kennethgoin628 we were under the B-1 bomber for the entire show. Moved into the BA's VIP section just before their display started. I did not see the incident as I was behind the hanger. My wife and mother-in-law did see it happen. I did notice them still hooked up as the disappeared behind the hanger. I thought this didn't look good. Made it back to our original seats just as the medical helicopter was about to depart. BA VIP section provides seats and a number of their displays passes over your heads and coming towards you. Plus you have viewing of them starting up, taxi out and parking when display is done.

WHY WHY WHY! Why are you people in such a hurry ? Do you not want to see and observe the very animals that the park is founded to protect? I would happily watch that critter for hours, not wanting to disturb it's day or behaviour in any way! Seems to me that all these people really care about is themselves, their shiny vehicles and posing around.

Well... aren't we a little self-absorbed. We're on a highway ya genius. If you want to observe, trust me, there's no shortage of places to do so. Quit your belly aching. We built the highway; we get to use the highway. If you don't like it, watch a nature documentary or something else that demonizes the human race. Now, to give you some perspective, bison aren't exactly warm, cuddly creatures. We're as vulnerable as hikers and care not to flirt with reality. We also had weather pushing us from the south, weather that included thunder snow. You can shake your head, but we're on a trip. Can you understand that? A trip. Dates are set, weather will do what the weather is going to do, and a hearty person will roll with it and take in the richness of the experience as a whole. Nothing about a highway ruins their nature or their life experience. They're more worried about mating/reproduction, food, and predators, Their natural world is far more deadly and disturbing than anything presented by a trio of outdoor enthusiasts who also happen to like motorcycles.

You don't have to band them but there should be more force rangers out there that can educate people and be around when these animals decide to attack this is just my opinion I would not put myself in that kind of situation where an animal of any kind is going to attack me but these motorcycles are too loud listen to them they can hear the motors they can hear the car motors they get the heat from the cars that's why it bears an other animals will climb up on a car bears can smell what's inside your car if you got snacks or candy or whatever they just need to like I said have more pores rangers out there because that's the only way tours want to go there and see wild animals instead of going to the zoo I understand all that you don't like my opinion didn't oh well

I know motorcycles are easy to get around and they can go a long ways on fuel but they're no match for nature they need to ban motorcycles from them parks and any person that gets out of their vehicle should be either ticketed or arrested stay in your vehicles and you won't get hurt or you won't get killed.

Glad you found some enjoyment in them Mark! Those were different days but we treasure them. The farmer across the road was retired but mowed the field for us kids every year and the trails you see us on, we blazed them ourselves! Another fun fact is that we were lucky enough to have one of Polaris' promotion only produced TCs. Since dad taped 8mm footage, it's all authentic to the era and while it might not be much to today's riders, it's history! I wish I had more videos to post regarding the old sled days, but like everyone's dad, the money only stretched so far. But man, those were FUN days!
