They are all great singers and performers. Karen is my personal favorite. Unfortunately her life was cut short due to an eating disorder yet all of them were great talents

I know you are probably more concerned with the women which is natural LOL. It was Cliff Richards, Elton John Andy Gibb. I'm not sure if there was another male performer there

Karen needed to stretch out on her own. She should have been allowed that much. It would have brought a New perspective to the Carpenters image

What a great night to have all these amazing talents on one stage. They were some of the biggest artists of the 1960s and '70s. It was great to see so many of them together. I was so happy to see that. Karen Carpenter was enjoying herself immensely

I love the way they drop away the filming at the end to leave the question, 'Who is singing now?' in the minds of their fans. Maurice Gibb once said, 'We all love, 'Fanny', but we never sang it Live as it was a b*t*h to sing!' Goes to prove that there was no faking those voice changes.

There was a national touring Beatles band called "Rain" And they didn't play Rain in their act!

And in the 1970's it is untouched by non-existent pitch control talent, talent, talent to the end.

They are amazing. Barbra is the pioneer for voices like Celine and Whitney. There are a couple more you should check out. Chaka Khan can raise the roof. She sings one with Peter Cetera called FEELS LIKE HEAVEN, It's crazy!

This one tears me up from the very first notes...even before Karen's luscious voice comes in. And knowing her sad story makes it even more poignant. After all your recent losses, it must have been hard for you to listen to it. Thank you for sharing Karen's last, beautiful gift with us. And thanks to her brother for Richard turning this "scratch vocal" and keyboard recording into an orchestrated masterpiece.

Because Barbra was so unique the so-called gimmick of this album was Barbra versus Barbra. Only she was great enough to sing with herself and as you see its true.

She was a guest vocalist on Paul Jabbar and friends. This was not on her album.

You have to do Boat To Sail by Carpenters. Its a more obscure song on a later album but it is THE greatest display of her Vocal ability that I've ever heard. NOBODY could cover that song ever again without embarrassing themselves...its that fantastic. Every time i hear it, my jaw slacks from awe

Fun facts: The white pants suit Barbra wears is the same one she wore in "What's Up Doc?" She sang this duet of "Sweet Inspiration and "Where You Lead" a year earlier at the Forum concert. She received a Grammy nomination for the recorded performance. And, she released a solo version of "Cryin' Time" on her Butterfly album a year after this.

Love that live performance of Sweet Inspiration/Where You Lead. Until I listened to the version here on YTube a few years ago, I didn't realize she returned for another round of the song as it wasn't included on the "Live Concert at The Forum" album.
