This is a 5 year old video and i still watched because of how much i hated Solo. The fact that the first half is a completely black, radio drama is a mercy since it allowed me to be almost completely checked out mentally by the time the lights came on. I cannot think of a worse movie that I have seen in the last 20 years. They were right to stop making SW movies after this. They should have stopped The Mandalorian after season 1. We know why the Mandalorians are nearly extinct. It wasn't because of the Empire. Its because they're all to GD stupid to live.

If a nice friendly droid tells a Jedi to spare their lifes, he gets met with his complete annihilation. We see scenes of this in every star wars movie. This should tell us enough about the nature of Jedi.

Thanks for the video. I'll add my comments to the abyss. Something that I don't see get enough attention is how Johnson torpedoed the tone of the movie. It starts with a "yo momma" joke in the beginning, which sets the tone as being lighthearted, especially with the slapstick of General whosits. But only minutes later, there's the super-serious scene of Rose's sister sacrificing herself. Those are tonal opposites. The film can be one of them, but not both.
