I bought this game in Russia three times. all three times it was a pirated disc. the first one was with the beta version. the second one is in Japanese and only then I managed to find it in English. then a pirated edition was published in Russian, but it was easier to play in English with a dictionary than to translate what the pirates translated.😁

This game is having a crazy resurgence lately! In Michigan USA ive come across like 15 different people since New Years who, when chatting about games, are playing GT4! Either emu, PS2, steam deck or just doing B Spec while they are at work. This game really is somethin even 20 years later.

BTW I know this video is old, but build a little setup for this OG hardware and go from Zero to Hero in Gran Turismo 4! I and others would love a GT4 episodic story from you. Especially since Sim Racing is having a huge BOOM right now! You present really well. I'm 31 (prime years for the Gran Turismo generation) and its really hard to find someone who presents this game as well and as humbly as you do. Plus using OG hardware??? C'monnnnnnn. So good. I subbed for future vids.

I have the sega mega drive version in Australia which takes the same shape cartridges as the genesis in North America. I was given a few Japanese cartridges that didn't fit. Easiest way around that was undo the 2 screws in the cartridge case, remove the circuit board and stick it straight into the console. Worked fine and never had any issues.

Automatically like the Genesis better it had the Raw theme even if it wasn’t the best for the time. I got it for my birthday when I was 10 and I spent hours, days years playing it for sega. Making matches and keeping a little bracket making my own Monday Night Raw shows.
