Ling rinpoche and Kundeling were Bhutu ram 🐏 (very poor in bhudist studies) in monastery and those who r really good in studies r unknown. It’s not their mistake but system is so unrealistic and manipulative by nature.

I have nothing against these young lamas like Ling Rinpoche and Kundeling Tatsak! We need to sopt this meritocracy and respect those who spent years and years studing in the monasteries! This is disrespectful! But the young lamas are not as innocent and naive to play along with the regional politics. Trijang Rinpoche is made to vanish in the air, and now these news media are making our Gelukpa Khenpo and Tripas irrelevant! This is what I hate with the Yabshi family and their clouts. They are moving in to force out other families and consolidate power at the center with their nephew-in-law Sikyong and control the multi-million Ganden Phodrang! Years ago, Jetsun Pema and Tenpoa Tsering started by inviting these Lamas to TCV annual picnic, now they are being shoved to our public. Just recently, they were invited to events where they sat above our TPiE speaker [You may not like Ven Sonam Tenphel, but he is the head of our legislative assembly]. This is how Tenpa Tsering and regional politics are moving in to grab power by demonizing Khampas and Choluk Chitues and disrespecting Gelukpa Khenpos and Choluk Lachens!
