Will it be beat to build a pure ranger or pick a different secondary. If so is rogue the best mix or what?

You will be able to pick a pure ranger by going ranger Primary Archetype and Ranger seconduary Archetype. If Ranger Rogue will be best is difficult to answer, since the game will be based upon paper rock scissor approach. Check out my why its casual freindly video to have that that approach covered! :)

Mannn I really hate when mmos let you zoom out that much, like Christ I don’t wanna be playing league of legends to be competitive in PvP. Archage had that problem

This is the wrong direction to go if you want to have action combat. This is more WoW combat. Enemies need feedback, movement needs inertia. abilities need animations with actual movement rather than being floaty and static. It looks really unnatural and makes the game look like it hasn't adapted or evolved in any shape or form after boring games like guild wars, eso or wow. MMO's need to lean into the direction of new world combat or monster hunter movement. Either way, these kind of combat designs just look outdated and unnatural.

Thanks for sharing your point of view. Personally I was impressed with the feel of New World, however I’ve never been completely let down by Tap target. So I’m exited to see and feel how it turns out. After all.. we are not even at A2, so a lot might still change 🤗

@@erjikkzon guild wars combat was having your torso face forward while your legs face the direction you were moving lol. So immersive. Action combat has universally been known for irs relation to souls combat.

How many successful action combat MMOs exist? I find that MMOs that do action combat focus on that and only that, then they look for a reason to do combat as much as possible. Que grind for hours in a single area like black desert. BDO has some of the best action combat out there and it's just a shallow game with nothing else to offer. Terra was the same. Meanwhile WOW and GW2 held strong for decades now despite problems and seemingly only ashes on the horizon to replace them both.

Great video and I love intrepids approach to ground and flying mounts. Personally I kind of enjoy mounts without abilities but I’m sure my opinion will change
