Lately I have been trying to walk a half marathon on the weekends. The problem is the pain afterwards. I can push through the pain during the walk, but when I finish and stop my feet are on fire. Wonder if this happened to you.

it could be your shoes! i wear hokas and don’t have issues with my feet burning. Also potentially could be because your shoes are tied too tight

@@elliemajelly So I got new shoes... old Nikes gone, and now have On shoes. And today I did a solid 23 km and the shoes really helped. Feet aren't that sore.

Bank to bank transfers here are done through an inter-bank alliance called OSKO, which each bank then brands their own. For instance, ANZ Bank calls their service "PayID", as do some others. All you need to use it is the recipient's phone number or email address, whichever they're used to set up their incoming tag. It works the same as Venmo, but probably faster and easier.

There is no law itself stating that you must wear appropriate footwear (ie no law forbidding driving with bare feet), but you can still get into trouble if you wear footwear that is not suitable to drive in.

When Australia went metric, my father had real trouble going from F to C for temperature. The guide I provided was Cold = 0 - 10, Cool = 10 - 20, Warm = 20 - 30, Hot = 30 - 40, Bloody Hot = >40.

Australia has a "like" tax because repeated improper use of the word is considered annoying noise pollution and a waste of oxygen. And things generally are, or, aren't. Affectaaaations are tolerrrrrated but not appreciaaaated.

To have lived in Australia for eight years and yet to become so Americanised, I wonder if your parents are Americans who were living here when you were born and went home when you were eight or if they were Australians who migrated to America. If it's the former, I can see how you forgot everything about Australia and lost your accent but if it's the latter, I fail to understand how that could happen. Which is it?

Depends on where you are within Melbourne. I've been told Melbourne is a horrible city but every single overseas visitor I've ever had has thought Melb was quite possibly the best city in the world. I was living in the inner North with local knowledge though. Don't get stuck in the suburban middle ring 10-30kms from the city.

A kilometer is 5/8 of a mile, 5 miles is 8 kilometres. Remember that and converting miles to kilometers or vice versa is easy.

Hot tip: Don't use boiling hot water with your matcha, totally ruins the overall taste and burns the tea. You'll lose all the great benefits too, try and use just hot water :)

Where you are walking by the river, I know that exact area very well as i live in Sunshine. Be very careful of tiger snakes there. I've seen plenty of them there, just a heads up to keep an eye out. Great channel by the way.
