They really went out of their way to change the script for no reason as well it seems. Makes me really despise the pixel remasters.

I'm pretty sure they called it the Serpents Road as opposed to the Devils Road to get around the Nintendo of America censorship when it came to biblical references, which was a whole hassle with the early US variants. I'm fairly sure the translations used for the pixel remasters is based off of translations closer to the source material. Edit: oh yeah also they censored the strippers.

just letting you know if you weren't aware, sometime during the scene of percy and sally reuniting the sound gets really loud.

What hurts about the scene with Sally and Percy is that is is a really hard situation. She obviously isn't trying to make him feel neglected, but of course it looks that way to him, and she knows she can't blame him for feeling that way. Her having to live with knowing he feels that way and not being able to explain why is so heartbreaking.

I guess they did not do the spider thing is because 1. There are a lot of people who have arachnophobia and would be freaked out by seeing spiders and 2. Percy, at this point, does not know he can manipulate water in that way. He basically said so when they got out of the water. He was surprised he could do something like that.

In the book Aemond he kills Luke and because he wanted not to and as he is showing in the series that he is sorry, the name of Rhaenyra's baby would be a girl and her name would be visenya Rhaenyra wasn't dreaming of a dragon giving birth. Her own dragon, Syrax, was screaming in pain at her because they are so bonded. If you notice during the Battle of the Stepstones, Caraxes screams when Daemon is hit by an arrow. this shows how Rhaenyra and Daemon have a great connection with their dragons. Rhaenyra's anger burns the whole transition was so well done, her anger is completely justified compared to how they made Daenarys Daemon as crazy as it gets, he loved his brother. From the scene where he stopped Corlis talking shit about Viserys in ep 1, helping on the throne to mourning on the beach. I don't think Daemon wanted to show weakness because Rhaenyra was at her most vulnerable and it wasn't easy.. (His last wife died in childbirth, and I believe it is also said that his mother died in childbirth and the wife of Viserys died in childbirth.) So the only thing he could do was prepare for the war he knew was coming. The scene on the beach was much longer of him on the beach Matt the actor he shot a scene on the beach the daemon suffering from the death of his baby who was a girl and her name was the series visenya but HBO preferred to remove this scene the daemon he is not no saint anymore he loves his family he loves his children and really rhaenyra just unfortunately the writers prefer not to show that side of him much, i think the reason daemon didnt go to rhaenyra when she was giving birth is because he feared having to make an impossible choice. The last woman he had complications with died. He didn't want to have to make that choice for Rhaenyra. He couldn't lose her that way. When he dropped to his knees, he was relieved that she was okay and had survived. Rhaenyra didn't want help during the birth because of her mother's death. She wanted to get that baby out so she wouldn't suffer the same fate. This series/book is awesome... Matt Smith said that Daemon would give his life for Viserys and Rhaenyra. I fully believe he was heartbroken to see his brother in that condition.

I know Greens lose their mind for not getting edgy badass throat-slitting Criston. But I loved every moment of it. We already have a buncha edgelord sigma chads in the show. Daemon being turned into a MCU antihero. Aemond cosplaying as anime Euron. Do you REALLY need another "cool villain"? The skull crush came off as a way more slimeball way to off an old man. Which fits perfectly with their vision of Criston. My hot take is that "every woman is the image of the mother" Criston is pure religious prIck judgmental d-nozzle brilliance! And it shows...Criston has riled up the GoT audience to an extent I haven't seen since like Jon Snow was killed lol. Every week there used to be a 30k viral tweet about how loathesome Criston is. They have done an excellent job of turning Criston into every woman's stalker ex nightmare. People have a visceral reaction the moment he's on screen.

House Arryn and Baratheon doesn’t share blood with Aegon. Rhaenrya’s mother was an Arrya and Rhaenys’ mother is a Baratheon. Since Jace, Luke & Joffrey are ‘supposed’ to be Leanor’s children, they have Baratheon blood.

Rhaenys would have not choice to accept Rhaenrya’s proposal to marry the kids. The girls are Daemon’s daughters and he’d have the final say. The offer was just to butter her up. He was trying to tell her that the prince that was promised comes from her line/blood not that it’s her.

alicent is hypocritical she gets angry with rhaenyra only because she has the freedom that she did not have if rhaenyra is not the decent girl and she is not the victim either if alicent is so angry with the life that touched her because she does not get angry with her father otto q was the one who sent her in the first place with viserys he started everything and she still continued to do what he wanted then she liked having that power now they take the throne from rhaenyra knowing that aegon will not be a good king so teamblack because they are not perfect and the victims are not made

Okay so my fun explanation on this one is that they say Sir Crispin (Criston) is "Dornish" In the first episode but then he said he fought the Dornish in this episode. What the heck is up with that? Well he is the southwest portion of the Stormlands/eastern Reach is known as the Dornish Marches. Criston Cole is from Blackhaven (his father is the steward) which is in the Stormlands half of the Marches, meaning he is *kinda* Dornish but only in his physical features, culturally he is very not Dornish and probably holds alot of animosity towards them due to his time in the war.

I know this is late but I hope you still see it, just a correction on the Tully family tree. Grover is Lord Tully at this point, his grandson is Elmo Tully. Elmo himself has two sons named Kermit and Oscar Tully. The boys might come up later in the story, I hope we get to see both of them along side their father. Edit: Also Viserys' wife was not his sister but his cousin.

Fans going "sentence Alicent to death" "kill her" "touching Princess is treason”. So we just gonna forget that child who got his eye popped out like a champagne cork is Viserys' own son too?! He’s a Prince too?! Viserys is gonna execute his wife for wanting justice for his own son?! Huh?? What kinda weak King does nothing while his own seed gets his eye poked out by a couple of bas-terds? He was more worried bout protecting Rhaenyra’s illegitimacy than his son. Ppl really acting like if some kids did that to your 10yr old in the sandbox ya'll just gonna be like "oh word? Can I give you guys some constructive criticism? Talking for over 4 minutes before you start the reaction is way too long for a first episode. Later episodes maybe you can talk to remind people what happened in the last episode before you start, but you should have just jumped into the pilot. And you are talking over the show far too much.
