I am delighted because it's found in Genisis 4:1 Eve thought she gave birth to the Lord. It's proof of the trinity.

Awhhhh man, now I gotta get used to a new way to say r😭 First I got used to rolling my R's in my native language (Croatian) Then I got used to the English one And now the Hebrew one😭 But thanks a lot for explaining! I was confused why some letters shared a sound,so I'm very happy that you explained the concept of final forms to me

How do you know when to use et as the preposition "with or from" or when it's a direct preposition like what you're showing? I'm asking because Gen 4:1 uses the word "et" 3 times. The first 2 times, it's not translated and is used how you are saying. The 3rd time, they translate it as "with or from". Did they just translate it that way because they didn't understand how Eve could say and think that she gave birth to YHWH? Or is there an actual reason for that? Thank you for your help!!!!

Hooo! I'll be replaying THIS one a couple of times. This where we start to see an instrument that truly sets Hebrew apart. There is no parallel structure in English. I'll bet it makes many new words easier to ingest, once you have the Binyanim engraved in your head. I like your analogy of separate building forms. Really liking the grid as well. The tree we often see, with all it's branches, can look like a big mess - as though there are just too many tenses or something. I imagine a native speaker would grow up hearing these distinctions intuitively and learn the structure later. Good stuff for a new learner though. Thank you.

I've run into various koine pronunciation videos, and they all differ with some letters....I understand it's an ancient language, and the actual pronunciation is not known, but it's still a bit frustrating. Anyway, I will trust this version.

Wow, for years I had been stopped at conjugating pronouns because no one had explained any rhyme or reason as to how they were logically constructed; They just stated what each one was. Thank you very much for inspiring me to restart my learning of Biblical Hebrew!

How do we know if the dagesh forte is doubling the sound of a bet or a vet? Thanks
@timmcninchАй бұрын
Bet/vet with a dagesh ALWAYS makes a “b” sound, never “v”. So you’ll never get בּ = vv.
