i've been goldfishing a zinnia deck im working on and whenever dovehawk comes up, it's always the best play I've got. it's so insane in this deck

I think I am building flubs as a solitaire deck to play when I have free time. I don't think it is strong enough for cedh and I am not forcing anyone watch me do this I managed to resolve a bolas citadel when everyone run out of interaction and tapped out like a month ago and I still feel a bit guilty. It was a cool line though

Oh... that nuturing pixie is such a perfect fit in Zinnia! although it's not being played in zinnia :D Thought behind it: Nuturing Pixie and Shrieking Drake are 1 mana creaturebounces which can help you actually bounce back your recruiters. Also I'd run a second recruiter with recruiter of the guard. So the idea is to tutor up nurturing / shrieking, offspring it for 3 and bounce the bouncer and recruiter... also yeah... the dovehawks are much much bigger :D

The Nesting Dovehawk tokens would also get counters from themselves entering, as they see they are tokens. So, all of Sam's Dovehawks should be a little bit bigger. Edit: Well, a *lot* bigger. 😅

It already did more than enough, but it's worth noting that the token copy of Nesting Dovehawk sees itself entering and gets a +1/+1 counter.

This game just shows why I was worried about dove hawk when I saw the offspring mechanic. Also Cameron that is an amazing playmat that I want, but I must resist for not needing it.

I only just learned that the Nesting Grounds can move counters onto any permanent, not just your own. Kinda surprised it wasn't used.

If you pay really close attention, you may notice that there are three players in addition to the Flubs player.

Proud of the comments for recognizing Flubs is a great example of a fun for me but not for thee deck. It’s plays like a very powerful extra turns deck that doesn’t need the extra turns.

Maha is another tergrid super scary on paper but when it plays the deck is bad in commander

For me, that was very unenjoyable to watch, and looked quite unenjoyable to play against. Personally, I wanted to see more of the other builds, so I could see if any of these new commanders were interesting to build around. Sadly, I didn’t get any of that information from this game 😕

This flubs deck feels like my Erruth deck.

I hope we get to see another match with these commanders. Flubs went off so fast I don't think anyone else got a fair shake. That being said, I have seen Flubs also crash and burn hard. Seems like a real glass cannon deck.
