I was about to say that. I remember to replace the rear speakers in my car, I had to take out the rear pillar trim and backseats which wasn't terrible. But I saw a video of a Honda where they just popped off the speaker cover and that would be so much nicer

For under 50k, I would get a well optioned Tesla Model 3 instead of a POS GM. The government should’ve let them fold and not bail them out. That cup holder trim should only come out by using a trim tool not your bare hands.

Actually, that 1 would have 3 monitors. The screen in the front can act as a monitor when the van is in park. I just bought 1.

If you want nice interior plastics - German cars especially Audi are the best. But for reliability - meh - average at best & well below the Japanese. Far Eastern cars have crappy chintzy plastic too - but are good where it matters. Cost savings have to be made somewhere & if you want the full package - you have to pay for it.

If you want your car to not break on the side of road, instead of buying GM, BMW or Chrysler crap, buy a Hyundai today. Hyundai is to today's era what Honda was back in the 90s. Their new Sonata (and every new generation car) kicks ass of competitors(especially GM's) in terms of reliability, value, features offered, performace etc.

Sit in a new 2020 Hyundai Sonata. It is an odd comparison with an Audi sports wagon but still, the quality in the sonata is pretty solid paired with Hyundai's reliability, warranty, features, etc.

Most are not close to being this easy. I had to wire in a laser jammer/detector in my BMW and had to really pull hard with a pry tool to get trim pieces off, very tight tolerances

If they were actually cheap you might understand. My 2010 Impala is a complete electrical nightmare and I can also sit and pop the plastic interior components off and on if I'm bored. Really 50k for that SUV he's in and add another 20k for the re-branded Cadillac twin it has. I suppose the parts have to be easy to snap on as I've seen the morbidly obese union employees on strike. Probably wanting another huge pay raise to fall asleep on the assembly line or watch cars pass as they yack on a cellphone.
