If this is the same documentary I watched, my favorite part was when they said that the gap toothed in ancient Egypt were superior singers was because when they walked in the moonlight, the moonlight shined through the gap onto their vocal cords

As a fellow gap-toothed woman I'm obsessed with this! I've had many insecurities in my lifetime, but for some reason, my gap was never one of them. It was always my own special thing. I even remember getting jealous of another girl in high school who was friends with the boy I had a crush on, all because her gap was bigger than mine :')

I was 9 years old and I still remember the wonderful smell from the waffle stand. The taste of that waffle is one of the few memories I have of the fair. I still crave it when I think of it. I also remember the GE Carousel of Progress, which is still operating at Walt Disney World, boasting the longest running stage production in history.

Really enjoyed this documentary! Someone who went for his passion of being his own kind of artist. He is now 84 years old and still enjoying life!

I wish it was easier to watch Les Blank films. They are hard to find. My public library doesn’t have all of them, and most of the ones they do have are on vhs which doesn’t look very good. They have a few on 16mm but they also are pretty beat up copies. I wish it was easier to watch them, because I’d like to see them all- since they make me so happy to be alive.
