8years with the rb25, loved it, but always wanted a jz, much more reliable in stock form than the rb… i could have repaired the rb, had the money and the skills, but for the level of drifting i do, and the power goal of my needs, a stock 1jz is better in any possible ways…

Clean the throttle body,, gets covered in oil residue , My idle was crap , rev for a while light would go out.

My Clio mk 2 from 2001 does the exact same thing. Even though the spark-lugs, electric distributor, gas pedel censor and crankshaft censor all have been changed. I don't know if the last thing to do is to check the catalytic convertor and the lambda censors? please help
