Thanks for a great video. Would love to install these on my existing system but not enough room in my main panel to place the CTs. Wonder if I can open up the sealed meter box next to my main panel to find some room to install the CTs

The 2 bolts that attach to the upper rear door slider rail brace are M6 X 1.0 X 25, part #90080-10252. Using a screwdriver to loosen and tighten these 2 bolts may be the best way to do so.

Just came across this vid, and it's great. My only issue is, I can't even get the door opened to start removing stuff. Seems like the cable is jammed somewhere causing the door to be stuck and not open manually. Anyone else had that issue?
@DIAYG
@DIAYG Ай бұрын
I had the same issue, so I cut the cable from the inside with the door half opened. Once the cable was cut, I was able to open the door. I hope this helps.
@DenaWald
@DenaWald Ай бұрын
@@DIAYG The question is, how do you get the door even half open when it won't budge from the closed position? I can't remove the panel to cut the cable because the 2 phillip head screws to release the panel are not accessible.

As others have noted, nails are much stronger in shear strength. They do sell structual screws with comparable shear strength to nails, but deck screws are not an acceptable replacement. Deck screws are brittle. Try screwing a deck screw into a board halfway and hitting it sideways with a hammer...it will snap off. A nail won't, it will bend over

Just finished my repair. spot on, other than the piece of window trim. Might wouldn't budge, but I was able to work around it. I found the sweet spot for using a ratchet on the 2 pulley bolts is when the door is almost closed.

If you have a folder with a few pictures (say 5-10), do you see the thumbnails there or just icons? My guess is that the thumbnails are taking longer to load when there is a folder with a lot of pictures.

If this didnt work for you: I found that moving your images (or folder of images) from one location to another fixes it. Then move them back to your desired location and voila! I’ve since shut down my pc, so when i boot it back up later i’ll check to see if this was a permanent fix.

It Worked! Thanks! Why did windows toggles this to be 'Always show icons'? Does it save on space or processing time?
@DIAYG
@DIAYG 2 ай бұрын
Glad it worked. Not sure why Windows does this. It may help a bit with processing time on much older computers, but won't make any difference with newer ones (Intel Core family of processors or AMD Ryzens).

Very useful. The part numbers are incorrect though. The driver side's part number is 85016-08011 (replacing 85016-08010), and the passenger side is 850150-8011 (replacing 85015-08010 as you listed).

I still can't find the right number, even with your update. What's the part for a 2016, right side? Car is 2016, AWD, 3.5L.... is it 850150-8011 ? Doesn't seem right. (LATER EDIT...this is correct).

I would strongly suggest that before re-assembly of the brake caliper, the upper and lower Pins in the caliper cage should be greased using a high temperature brake grease to make sure the callper cage itself can slide freely as the brake pads wear down. Otherwise, the brake pads may not wear evenly. If you see that the old brake pads did NOT wear evenly, most likely that was because those two pins were dry and did not allow the cage itself to move when the pads wore down.

Some people took off the white plastic before mounting it on the motor. I did not take it off either. Y'all think it makes a difference ?
@TheWilferch
@TheWilferch Ай бұрын
Toyota tech bulletin for this work says to remove the white plastic...... but at the same time they say be careful not to separate the spool afterwards or unspool it. Seems this vid and others keep it in.....and I would say leaving it in (if it still works as it seems to be)...is better because it helps keep all the stuff together and keeps it from unspooling. Anyone else here with guidance? Bulletin---> static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2019/MC-10162772-9999.pdf
