This siren was originally a part of the State of Delaware civil defense outdoor warning system. There were originally two sirens in Smyrna that were used for this purpose. As installed it was not tied into the fire department system but was set off as part of a state wide network of sirens that were set up to be controlled at the state police headquarters in dover

Well they both still work, the issue was that the EOWS didn't receive tones, and the Allertor's zone wasn't toned out since there was rain in the area

We swapped the brushes because it wasn't healthy. The reason it only got to like 1/3 pitch was because the brushes were extremely stiff. Also gave it a STH-10 wind down lol

More like behind it. There's the main building, the garage, and the shop, and that's where the siren is. I'm honestly surprised the cops weren't called, this thing is LOUD
