Marilyn Monroe turned down playing Jean Harlow her childhood hero in a film because it was none factual, vulgar and disrespectful and under developed. I just wish people had respect dignity and respect and respect for Marilyn Monroe had for Jean Harlow and that she had for herself. I have no respect for Ana de Armsas, The director and Brad Pitt and the writer of the book blond, they should all be ashamed of themselves acting like they are representing Marilyn Monroe and her pain while actually Exploiting it. Ana de Armsas should not be cuddled or respected for doing this to Marilyn Monroe. She should be held accountable for taking the role and hurting Marilyn Monroe and her legacy. Marilyn Monroe didn't do that to Jean Harlow. Everyone have respect for the dead, respect for legends and please have respect for Marilyn Monroe she deserves that.

Maybe she gets nominated.... To much marketing and publicity around the movie and Brad Pitt in involves.... But honestly, Ana is beautiful and all but that's exactly why she is where she is now... Not real talent here, just another pretty face that sells.... Hollywood has become a fabric of vanity and beautiful people without talent and skills.... Bad men, really bad

@@SSY1025 I think she is talented, and if you haven't seen "Blonde" yet then your criticism is too premature. I see talent other than her beauty. I've seen her in interviews and she's eloquent, poised, charming, and she takes her acting seriously. Very dedicated. Also coming from Cuba where everything is scrutinized by a dictator's regime and pulling herself out of that through acting is commendable.

She is ok but she is where she is because how she looks and that's the point.... There are so many talented people out there that is painful seeing this kind of girl making it while other don't because the way they look .... And one thing that I've never respect of her was fear of talking about the regime... Many other have done it, she's selfish in her own way and that's ok when you care about yours and you but not what really matters.... Sorry, don't like her at all
