The first SpongeBob movie: easily the best and the most memorable movie of the entire franchise. I remember watching this movie so much as a kid on TV DVD and even on streaming services when I was in high school when I watched the movie with a bunch of my classmates because we were able to have Paramount+ in high school so that was fun 10/10 SpongeBob sponge out of water a pretty solid movie. I don’t like it as much as they did with the first movie but it’s still pretty solid for what it is. I especially like the first half of the movie. It looks like it’s going to be a SpongeBob and plankton team up, but then later turn into a superhero movie in the second half, and they literally are i real life with stop motion, animation in the characters well except for that real life humans of course but I do have some problems with this movie. One of my main complaints about the movie is that I did not like how the characters treated SpongeBob and blame the entire thing on him, even though it wasn’t really his fault and they never apologize to him But this is not the only time they done it. There’s been several points for the show where the characters love SpongeBob and kiss him the most important person in their lives and then then the next episode they extremely hate him and wished that they never met him so what is up with that? 7/10 Sponge on the run: yeah for most people it’s considered the weakest SpongeBob movie of the franchise but honestly, I think I prefer the story in this movie than a day was sponge out of water because I honestly really enjoyed the story. Yeah it may be similar to have you seen the snail from season 4 but I definitely did like the characters in this movie a lot better than I do with sponge out of water, especially the main characters, especially when they sing a song how important and SpongeBob is part of their life which again sometimes they love him and sometimes they hate him but if there’s one thing, I can’t agree with a lot of people on it that a completely screw up with SpongeBob’s timeline and I’m talking about Camp Koral at the time of this movies made. It was too hype of people for the upcoming spin off of camp Coral because at that time, Steven Hilbert had just died RIP to him and he specifically says no spinoffs but nickelodeon does nickelodeon stuff in my right guys. They don’t make good decisions. For example SpongeBob did not meet Sandy in Camp Coral. He met Sandy in the season one episode a tree tea dome. I think that’s what it’s called but it’s in earlier season one. It was Sandy’s first appearance and I don’t buy SpongeBob meeting Mr. Krabs at camp because in the first episode Help wanted it was addressed that SpongeBob has never met Mr. Krabs at that time and the same thing goes with pearl or plankton because SpongeBob has met pearl at a high school prom date that he went with her and SpongeBob and plankton plankton tried to take his brain so yeah I don’t buy some of the stories that they say how they met SpongeBob, which is completely not true. The only characters I can maybe accept is probably Patrick and Squidward. 8/10
