Skirts like pants have no gender for it IS man that makes the clothes, not clothes makes the man. The idea MEN = PANTS has been a foolish mindset since the Renaissance. Sure it made sense at first given the technology of the time and the work of the period. But like all things Times change and though wearing pants for riding horseback and working in the fields and factories is a good idea, to remain in pants indefinitely is a pretty foolish and narrow minded excuse. Just think for a moment; you dress up for a Halloween party and for the party that’s great. Now imagine that same group of people at that party then continue wearing those costumes everyday beyond just for Halloween. How practical is that? Does it make any sense? To answer that it would be NO! and NO!. But for what ever reason society seems to make up these foolish, sexist and today double standards that allow women to dress as they please but men can not wear skirts. Historically men did so there’s proof men can wear skirts, society has got to stop making up stupid, foolish, narrow minded excuses not to. The fact is men have down graded themselves for generations for ridicules reasons

The problem, not only for men, but also for woman: the tacky ones. The thumbnail unfortunately has some of these, and it weakens the point you want to make with the video. A pump (falsely named stiletto in the US) is a well proportioned shoe. The sole is rather flat, no platform, and if you stand on it, you have to be able to lift your heels, if not they are too high. And although 1cm width may look great, 2cm walks way more comfortable. So get good materials, real leather/suede, good foodbed, beware of thick platforms under the ball of your foot, and make good matches, don't overdo. For example it combines great with dress pants. Don't go all out feminine with dresses and skirts, but make smart combinations of male and female items. My husband rocks plane mechanic overalls with pumps for example.

I feel very discriminated against for not being able to wear skirts, while women can do whatever they want. I would only wear skirts, I don't like trousers, I find them uncomfortable and I don't feel comfortable in them. This video demonstrates how skirts look great on men. As a self taught cross dresser I wear mini dresses, skirts and short shorts you'd never see me in board nor cargo shorts just too butch for me. If and when women take over I'll give them my pants free from the confining slacks and cooler in the summer. I'm obviously not god's gift to women but my favorite jobs have always been employed by women in pants. While I wore black velvet bodysuits as a flower lady and mini dresses at the farmers market. Those guys are more butch in skirts than I'd be in pants not saying much most drag are more butch.

Usually arms and legs should be covered even in summer. The length of the skirt should not be shorter than kneelength, underneath one should wear classic black tights to cover the skin. If you opt for a top or dress with short sleeves, wear a pashmina to cover up there as well. Shoes should not be open toed ones, they don´t need to be completely flat since a bit height on the heel increases the elegance of your appearance but be sensible about it. A kitten heel is safe to wear. People who attended royal funerals almost always wear classic pumps so this should be okay as well since it won´t get any more conservative than that. In general choose dark fabrics with solid color. No decolletage at all, cover up.
