Very nice! Looks more authentic than the other solutions (foam board and contact paper)

How did he secure the base of the Brimnes to the 2x6 frame? I bought them with the intent to hack like this and I feel like I made the wrong choice because it's not a solid flat bottom. I figured I would need trim to cover that gap like you did, but I just can't figure out the securing to the base frame!!
@jojobelasharesАй бұрын
He used liquid nails and a “L” bracket to secure the Brimnes to the 2x6 frame. If you watch the video on 3:50 you can see it. He also went ahead and drilled the Besta into the Brimnes for additional support. You can see this in the video at 5:10. Thank you for watching and hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

Looks great! I noticed the wall outlet in the back and how the extra support is helping provide some space. Do you think there would be enough space to plug an extension cable in behind the shelf if it had a pretty flat plug?

Did you have to make your shelves an inch wider to accommodate adding the 1x3, to keep the shelf fitting securely against the back of the closet? If measured exactly, how would have no room to nail the 2 pieces together without pulling the panel more to the front to have room to nail. Thank You
@jojobelashares11 ай бұрын
Hello, yes I did have to do that so there was no gap at the back end. Thank you for watching!
