Hello. I’ve known this exercise for about 10 years but I don’t know how to practice it. I can only play it at your “slow” speed. Can you give me any tips? What I mean is bpm, duration, how many days, when do I increase speed, etc. You say play it at three tempos but what tempos? I ask so many KZfaq teachers this question but never get an answer. Thanks for the video!

I came acroos Gary while watching an Allan Holdsworth concert (I play guitar) ... As the ambitious guitar player I am, I tried to get into Holdsworth's ideas, harmonically and rhythmically ...I never digged Allan's ideas, they were to complex, but than Garry came in and I suddenly could relate to Allan's ideas, things got clear, at least rhythmically ...
