Thanks for taking the time to share this content. However, I must agree with most people in the comment section. Using Next js with firebase on client side only is pointless as it is serverside auth what most people are looking for when typing "Next js auth with firebase".

In my project , I used the previous method,.. not this method .. , the issue I'm facing, if I'm refreshing from homepage, it's fine.. , when I'm refreshing from any page other than home page , it's throwing me 404 not found ... ( In production at Vercel)

For example, in the part where you use useEffect to update the total, it would be helpful if you briefly explained what Firebase methods like onSnapshot and their arguments do.
