HI mate good review, really thinking of getting one to me with my Heart rehabilitation I can't do hill's! but I'm worried about the legality of this bike, is legal ?
@ModProjects43062 сағат бұрын
Turn the throttle off and set the max speed to 16 mph and you’re legal.

I was at checkout and still looking at YT reviews about the Engine Pro 2.0 when I saw your channel. They even offered me a saving of £280! Now I’ve put this on hold for a few months at least. But with new UK regulations under review, I think it’s wise to wait awhile. Thanks for the info buddy. You’ve certainly opened my eyes right now.

Thanks for your review. In your opinion which is the better bike for some who is 180cm & 120kg the X20 or Engine pro 2.0 ? I like the look of both bikes.
@ModProjects4306Күн бұрын
The Pro 2.0 is currently my favourite ebike. I used to ride my old Engwe Engjnw Pro at 270lb and 6ft and it never struggled once. All depends on what effort you want to put in. Personally I’d go for the Pro but if you want a sturdier bike, the X20. You definitely won’t be disappointed by either. There’s discount codes in both reviews and because of dodgy sites out there I always advise people buy directly from Engwe wether you use those codes or not. Hope this helps.

You made some great points I agree with, I review E-Bikes on my channel and the current laws seem rather silly to me. One of my first thoughts when riding an E-bike too was these would be great for people with disabilities or just anyone who struggles to get around easily. This is one of the problems with alot of governments over regulating and taxing everything.
@ModProjects43063 күн бұрын
Personally I think instead of looking at it with a wider view they look at it through blinkers, all the idiots that use Surrons and Talaria’s to rob people in central London, use them for anti social behaviour and are a downright menace get lumped in with those of us that try to go down the ambiguous route. Not one person in government has a micro clue as to how much these things can change the lives of people that respect the law. Sadly they don’t care and as for the law … it’s simply taking the piss right now.

HI there! I bought a ENGWE Engine Pro 2.0. I have already activated the cruise control system in the advanced settings 17P = 1. However, when I’m riding the bike with the same speed for more than 10 seconds only using the accelerator without touching the breaks and pedals, when removing the accelerator the bike decreases the speed. So, the bike doesn’t turn on the cruise control mechanism. Is there anything else I should do to activate the cruise control mechanism when I’m riding the bike? Thanks!

Net Zero=New World Order Global Government run by the unelected United Nations and basically Communism for us....Chatham House are responsible for it all. Electric motors are a stepping stone to owning nothing and being happy somehow
@taffyray7 күн бұрын
Speed should be the only restriction not motor Size not throttle or no throttle. Most of us own cars that can do over 100mph but the speed limits on the roads don't allow it! It could be the same for ebikes! Just a thought!

After owning it for for a while in less than 350 miles I’ve had to replace the motor because of hall sensor issues, the mid shock air locked and had to replace that, I’ve just had to straighten the spoked wheels and trust me, I just use this bike on the road mainly and very light trails. Cyrusher has the worst customer service. The wouldn’t honour the warranty because I bought the bike used from an influencer … not that isn’t much different to the fact that they don’t honour warranties anyway even if you bought it from them. Multiple times they’ve accused me of being a liar. Do not buy from Cyrusher. I genuinely need to update this review.

@@ModProjects4306 thanks, I'm off to Google 😉 Don't need tyres at the moment but it's nice to have a alternative.
im on board with them, but in my area in London the majority riding ebikes are 16 year olds on 40-50mph ebikes and they are totally wreckless and havent had to have pass any sort of test.
@ModProjects43069 күн бұрын
But that’s not the majority of people. We and they have to stop thinking with the mindset that there’s r**ards out there, the majority of us don’t behave like this. We can’t keep paying for the behaviour of the minuscule minority that abuse e-bikes.

I ride from 1 location to another where I can secure my bike. The problem with ebikes and bikes generally is that you cannot leave them anywhere and the Police are not actively bothered about investigating bike theft.

It's of my opinion that the speed limit should be bumped to 20mph to be inline with city traffic. And the power limit is a joke. I'd like to see 1000w available upon acceleration tapering down to 250w once up to speed. Motors like Bosch already push more than 250w but as it drops down once up to speed it's marketed as within UK rules.

You didn't mention the sizing on the sidewalls of the tannus armour. Maybe you didn't have to trim yours, I bought some for my 27.5 x 1.95, 26 x 1.95 tyres & I had to trim both of them & and lastly, tannus sells smaller tubes that your supposed to use when installing their armour. I bought their recommended 27.5 x 1.75 & a 26 x 1.75, and for my fat bike (26 x 4), they recommend 26 x 3.5-3.75
@ModProjects430610 күн бұрын
Fitted these to 4 e-bikes 20x4 … never once had to cut them down or resize them. Ever. Says 20x4 in the title. 🤷🏻♂️ As for the tubes, they’re nothing more than bladders that hold air. They’ve been fine.

I’d never recommend anything by Cyrusher. Ever. Since ownership I’ve had to change the motor after it continued to fail after repair, the mid suspension air locked and had to be replaced and Ive just had to do the spokes. Less than 350 miles on the clock. The company refuses to honour any issues as I bought is used from a KZfaqr with 60 miles on the clock. Zero warranty … saying that their warranty is non existent anyway. Battery fires that they’ve hidden … unless you know what you’re doing with these bikes don’t buy one. The only good thing about it is the frame. The tyres are hard to come by. Only 100 sets made world wide but they are Vee Tire Speedsters and I really think they set the bike off.
