Does it matter what kind of bms is used when using regen braking? I hawe bms with p - port, I want to replace it with common port smart bms(that is what I was able to find in this size and already ordered it, the question about regen came after fact :P) so the question is, what does control the regen so the battery does not explode, is it motor controller or bms? And does the kind and brand of bms matter when considering the use of regen braking?

Did you just swap the motors or other adjustments r needed. I have contacted evolve about upgrade the motors they said I can't as the 63 motors are different spec and the electronic r not compatible with 63 motors. If I want to swap to 63 what I need to change? thanks

Do you know what the diameter of the trampa rims youre using are? I have 9 inch trampa tires and it looks like they require 4.5inch diameter rims, but trampa's website says the compatible rims are only 4 inches. I have 4.2inch acedeck rims and they don't fit because they aren't 4.5inches so I'm so confused. Thanks

Bms destroy your battery pack. Had this happen a number of times. Now I build my own packs and never use a bms. Their is plenty of information online on how todo this. And I've never had any issues not using 1. 52v battery on my ebike and I balance charge them all the cells stay in great condition

Seems like the contact patch would be slightly wider going from rs2 nylon hubs (34mm) to rs2 pro alum (39mm) for the front 2 wheels vs 44mm correlating lip/contact patch for XL's when using 8" 200x50 tires on all but please clarify this if anyone knows... Also Anyone know how much the offsets are for the RS2 pro alum vs rs2 pro alum xl’s? I hear the XL’s are 3.5mm offset wider stance on each side? I'm thinking on. putting the regular rs2 pro alums on front and the XL's on rear.

Phatty tires (200x75) 8" would fit better on the XL's hubs yes? Also are your spacers better quality than the standard mbs rockstar pro 2 hubs? I'm assuming these aluminum hubs fit bearings tighter than the mbs rockstar pro 2 hubs? Definitely nabbing a set of those tires of yours! the combo looks rad!

I am building a 4S pack for use in my Tesla, the pack will sit in parallel with the stock battery, but will a BMS be able to let the charge current from the DC-DC converter through or do I have to solve this another way?

Does the Stormcore apps auto lock need to be on or off? After installing new Boardnamics BN M1-AT Gear Drive on my Lacroix electric skateboard 12s4p p42a 21700 molicel and replacing motors from 6389's to 63100's the board would not charge. Charger showed green as if fully charged but was no charge left. After downloading the xiaoxiangBMS app it started to charge properly again! But now It will not charge again. The battery shows fully charged in xiao & stormcore app and shows green light on charger again but it is not fully charged. I'm seeing: - a MOSFET software locked alarm and also: - A cell over voltage protection alarm Any hints to point me in the right direction tremendously appreciated mates!

I've got a summerboard V2 Battery. It's refusing to charge, but I have about 80% left on the battery and it will still run my board (got a free replacement - Aaron mentioned about a problem resistor on the earlier V2 batteries?). I'm getting the red blinker of death on the battery, but I was wondering. Would it be a BMS problem or I have a bad cell? Annoying, the bloody thing is actually well made and I've only managed to get it out of the casing and do some simple voltage checks.. Would sticking a different BMS work? or would it be easier to just rebuild and try and fit it into the current battery enclosure?

I would prefer a temperature warning beep on discharge

Hi Lee I have a battery with what i suspect the BMS is not working The BMS has BD-HW-7+9<10>Z-6265AG/V1.2 wrote on it i cant find any ref to this number on the web or anywhere do you with your knowledge know of a compatible BMS it is for a 36v 15.6Ah FreeGo E bike battery. I have watched your video, would you have a compatible BMS n your store?
