14:32 This spot is likely the most disturbing....immediate view of height, the off angle and narrow trail make for major PUCKER time !!!!!!!

Other countries do this every day as a regular routine to survive .. cause there’s no asphalt roads like in the states.

Me watching this video knowing the camera makes everything look so much less steep than it really is. I'd have to walk some of that 🤣😂😅

I just picked up a 2024 PW. Most options. I installed 35” Toyos. Also put on a set of Rough Country power steps. My intention is to build a set of robust rock sliders that can easily bolt on and off when not rock crawling. Also a rock slider for the back end rather than wrecking the bumper. Thanks for your video.

Soooo, we drive this trail, and all the others in the Silverton area, in a $600, STOCK 1993 Ford Explorer on 31” Falken AT3 tires. No spotter, no winch, no lightbars, no snorkel, no lockers, no lift……. Amazes me to see $80,000 rigs struggle. Maybe, just maybe, learn to wheel before you drop $80K on a rig with every bolt on part from a 4 Wheel Parts catalog.

Nice recovery. Anyone taking that up on that trail with the goofy steps can expect 1 thing self clearancing steps gone and stuck like chuck. That's a no joke trail. Winch, Lockers and bigger tires like m/t not silly street tires.

The leader/spotter did an amazing job getting her down. And super smart to let her offload the adrenaline before continuing.

You all have bigger kahuna's than I do. I have over 30 years of off road diving under my belt, and although the views are gorgeous, I'm not sure the risk is worth the reward for me. I'd maybe ride down it on a horse?

Be prepared, stay calm, know your rig, trust your rig, trust your spotter, listen to instruction. She was missing a few of these elements and it caused her to panic. Panic gets you killed.

I would go down that with my Suburu Crosstrek if I knew it would clear the steps. It only has about 10 inches of ground clearance. Nothing else worries me about that trail except other stupid drivers.

Is this trail one way? I sure would hate to be in a situation where two vehicles going opposite directions meet on a steep narrow trail. I would prefer to ride this trail on a motorcycle. It would be annoying to be following behind a group of Jeep's going 5 MPH where a motorcycle couple travel several times faster with ease. The scenery of this area is spectacular! Thanks for sharing the video.

Lack of off-road experience, 8:54, orange Jeep Wrangler. There was plenty of space available to cross the rock ledge at an (approximately) right angle. However, the driver chose to take an oblique angle and hit the brake in the worst moment instead of letting the car crawl.

Jeeps are dangerous. Might as well be a samurai...u see the truck thing with some weight over the rear axle didnt have an issue on that small downhill ledge.. Wouldnt put anybody in one. Vintage Toyota for me please 1st gen taco or hilux all the way.. 1981-97 04 max...the new tacos i have no use for. Our country is ruining vehicles we have imported. We cud have diesel hilux's but nah.. send us a plastic riddled space ship looking thing with fancy new designed engines... fucks sake. U cant beat a 5vz people.. rant over.. proceed jeep people

Sometimes movement is better than being stopped. The orange Jeep that was teetering is a perfect example. I know it's hard and you want to smash the brake but if you'd let it roll out of that spot, you'd would have been golden. When I was in this SAME spot in the rain in my RRover, I desperately wanted it to STOP and it kept sliding forward and I was pushing with full force of my leg on the brake. It took a great deal of discipline to release pressure and let it roll out of that spot. My left brain was saying, "a controlled decent is better than a slide" and my right brain was saying, "smash the brake harder, HARDER!" Fun times. I've done BBP twice and miss it a lot.
