My installer is suggesting this. I asked how they ensure the rafter is found. I was told “they try” but if they don’t find a rafter it’s 6! Screws instead of 2. Knowing construction crews and such- I don’t blind trust anyone to spend 5 minutes to locate and mark each rafter. Much quicker to drill in 6 screws

Being able to remove a UFO bolt without the base falling out will be a big advantage if/when things need to be serviced. This system looks really promising. Additionally, the bonding pin to prevent "camping out" is brilliant, and a chief complaint of mine for similar racking.

I just noticed that in my Equipment List for my soon-to-be-installed PV system, my installer specified this bracket.

Just curious, what was the driving force to put panels on a second story roof. Was it price (ground mounts being more expensive or aesthetics and the client didn't want to look at them? Where I live we get less than 15" of rain and very heavy into agriculture, so panels need cleaning a few times a year. Thanks looks like a clean install.

How does 4 junction boxes per panel equal 75% more power? It seems that of there was an impact from shading (and efficiency and density was the same) the largest possible gain would be 25%. Essentially, you could only add the area (25%) that would be producing on the Pure-R vs the regular pure. No shading same power, perfect 50% shading (exactly) same power, perfect 75% shading 25% more power which would be infinitely more than 0% (theoretical) on the regular Alpha. What scenario I'm I failing to imagine in which shading allows for 75% more power?

Please take the word "uhhhh" out of your presentation. Slow down...think about what you want to say.....then say it with out saying "uhhhh" every third or fourth word. Good message, but very annoying.
