Her students remember Mrs. Harrison with great admiration because she taught them English, how to pronounce the words and had afterschool programs to help the students catch up when they got behind because they were migrant students that went with their parents to work in the Northern states of the USA.

So many great teachers. The City of Brownsville has good schools and the teachers are dedicated to their students. The students are smart and work hard to achieve their goals. This is a special place for BISD teachers and it is located in front of Hanna High School. My favorite school is Lopez High School, my favorite elementary school is Palm Grove and I love Faulk Middle School but the reality is that I like all the schools here in Brownsville (Harmony, Idea, etc)

We were having a good time on our trip to the College Campus. The owner of the channel was recording and I (the assistant) was driving. It is an impressive drive: TSC campus, Puente Nuevo to go to Mexico, Fort Brown, BECHS, UTRGV campus and finally the TSC campus.

Parents are smart when they shop for school supplies. They buy extra pencils, extra sharpeners and colors. Students use computers today but still the teachers are so creative that they do projects with construction paper, colors, markers, glue, pencil colors, and drawing paper at all levels: elementary, middle school and high school. Parents buy what the students need: no waste of school supplies. All items are used: folders, binders, paper, compass and protractor, scissors, staplers, etc

Many teachers buy these items and they have beautiful classrooms. I saw several elementary school teachers buying at Walmart the first week this items were on display. Teachers love to have a functional and attractive classroom for their students and for themselves.

Sea creatures for children that love the sea. Mirrors, rings, purses, crowns: for little girls. The erasers are so beautiful, we got some just to look at them and play Bingo. The glue, we got only those that were on sale: classic school glue and glue sticks.

Lucky students that get beautiful lunch boxes, awesome pencil boxes and fantastic water bottles. If you get an umbrella, for the rainy days, that means your parents were saving all year long to buy these items. Take care of them and maybe next year you do not need to replace them.

My admiration to parents that save money to buy beautiful colors for their childrne. Pencil colors, markers, crayons, etc We use crayons all year long because it is fun to color and it is our hobby. The more colors, the more creative we become. Teachers: thank you for including coloring in your lessons (from elementary school, middle school, high school). Awesome learning technique. .

I listen to the radio on my way to College. English classic songs that only my parents know.... but I wanted to put music of our region in this video because Students we need motivation to give our best to our studies. Tex-Mex Music, Mexican Music, Regional Music, American music: important to students to give their best to their studies. UTRGV has a band and TSC has a great music program too. These are my schools: BECHS, TSC, UTRGV.

Time to buy all the necessary school supplies. Back to School sales, events and parties are now taking place to motivate students to do their best in the 2024-2025 School year. More than one sharpener is needed. Lots of pencils and scissors and geometry sets for 6th graders. Thank you parents for buying all the school supplies for the long school year.

Back to School events. So much work for the parents and so much joy for the students and teachers. School is exciting, a challenging daily routine and so many new things to learn and review. School year: 2024-2025 We are ready.

It was great doing all these videos for CHRISTMAS IN JULY 2024 with all the items from CHRISTMAS 2023. Now, I know what I want for Christmas 2024: everything.

These Santas are awesome. We are all Santas: we love to give our time, our baked cookies, our gifts and cards to friends, neighbors and relatives.

I like these signs. You can find them in various shops: Hobby Lobby, Target, Dollar Tree, Dollar General, Family Dollar etc I wish I could buy one.

The shrimp, the dogs, the cars, the cakes, the horses, the avocados, the cooks, the dinos, the jackets, the sheep, the airplane, the truck etc all awesome ornaments at Target.

Beautiful Christmas Stockings. Hope you get one for yourself this Christmas 2024.

I really liked the Santa with the Hawaiian shirt and the country barn with silo and the rest of the items were also grate: stockings, tree decorations, houses to form a winter village... Love all this.

So beautiful. The rule is to buy what you like or wait until the items go on sale and store them for the following year. Some people can do many of these decorations at home, but they go and buy all the necessary crafts ahead of the Season.

Going to her RosMar Beauty Clinic was a great experience. Carlos Cascos' father helped so many people and in honor of his father, Carlos Cascos helped Brownsville residents, Texas residents and his family and loved ones. It is a great loss for the City, the community and for his family. This is a tragedy for Brownsville, Carlos Cascos was only 71 years old and he was working and helping others...very sad moment for all of us.

The clouds, the rain and the chores kept many people from watching the Strawberry Moon at 8:00 PM. I saw it and it was beautiful: the red glimmer and the low location of the moon, made it an impressive sight. Many people were having parties and driving to social events so the sky did not allow them to see the Strawberry moon 2024. We always color during Juneteenth, I bring out my doll collection, and we eat red foods. We listen to good music and admire our paintings: capoeira, samba, drumlines etc

I love bingo. We love bingo. We are not experts in history but we learned a lot of facts by playing this Juneteenth Bingo. The Juneteenth Bingo game is sold by various vendors (nice, colorful and professionally made) but we decided to do our own version of the game. Create your own version, if you have time and supplies.

The mole dish had a tumble during the drive and it looks a little bit messy. The mole landed on top of the rice !!! It was delicious. My father prefers fruit (bananas, apples, oranges etc) but he loves cake. All types of cake and sweet bread. To all fathers that are picky eaters: just taste the food...and then eat what you like to eat.
