I would not trust this person, she was a public defender for my MIL in the 90s, she should be ashamed for how she allowed my MIL to be taken advantage of. She spoke no english and lost with 2 boys .

..if you got the albums on vinyl or CD...look and read who produced all the songs!!!....I respect Chris Blackwell for his hard work in helping to promote reggae music to the world..and his knowledge and his journey to where he is now... but if have any doubt on his statement who produced the albums...look on the CDs or vinyl releases..... !

Very interesting and inspiring. Hard to believe that he was born 1955 even if this was at least 12 years ago. I have enjoyed his playing with Dave Holland and Elvin Jones through the years and appreciate to hear about his background and concept here. I am a drummer by the way.

I was tonight's years old when I found her. I was listening to a documentary about Isaac Stern, and they showed a masterclass with an amazingly talented young violinist. When the credits rolled, I tried to figure out what happened to her.... and 3 hours later, I'm still here listening... She is amazing! Wow!

Mr. Burton made a very good point, about Stan Getz's overall knowledge of chords - he figured out what to play, very quickly at the moment, based on what he heard. That's what we call Jazz! 😊

My sister died of an overdose aged 30 and since the funeral I became an addict myself using to numb the painful feelings and thoughts. It's now been 10 years since she died and I'm trying to kick the habit as I don't want to die. It's the hardest thing to stop using but this video has helped. Phil is very smart and the way he words things makes me want to give up more than I ever have before. I really hope one day I can live a clean life because drugs are no fu**ing fun anymore

I love it, I got a mandolin and am gettin a new one for my birthday. The Greeks invented so many great things for us - trigonometry, democracy, the socratic method - but none of them compares to the bouzouki!

What? Why do you start with "Now You Know"? Shouldn't the first verse be "List and Learn"? Why all the other needless alterations to the libretto? It's so jarring! My impression is that you tried to one-up, or imitate the Stradford Festival version whch also has modified lyrics and ommits the Gavotte.

Nadja is one of the few violinists who isn't sick of the Four Seasons and actually seems to enjoy playing it! She loses bit of momentum briefly on the slow parts but when she its the vibrato she smiles again. I like the Four Seasons but it often just seems like all the musicians are doing scales and arpeggios as practice or just doing it because someone is paying them. Nadja puts the passion Vivaldi himself felt back into it.

The doctor/songwriter analogy doesn’t hold up. Art doesn’t work like that. There’s not a license that clearly divides whether you are or aren’t a painter, dancer, guitarist, songwriter, etc. He was an asshole to that woman. Lots of value in this class but that part bothered me.
