Any thoughts on how this compares to an exocet or Atom 4? The rear suspension geometry gives me pause on these but the lack of weight over the rear wheels of the exocet feels like it might be a bigger problem.

@@hamsterbrigade never driven an Exocet or atom so I can’t say. Rear geometry isn’t the best, but it still works well. The goblin v2 will have a revised rear suspension

@@justinreedracing6213 I had no idea about the v2. Are they moving to double wishbone? edit: Just took a look at the v2. Nice upgrades but moving to a GTI engine seems like an odd choice when a Honda K series seems like a better engine choice.

Yeah, I would shit my pants. That looks insane. I have a cobalt ss turbo and I dont think I could ever sacrifice it for a goblin. They only made 3000 of them. I also have a wrecked 2.2 XFE to use. I would rather use that motor and just upgrade my pistons and rods.

It really depends on how aggressive the weight transfer is. A regular corner with gradual banking is fine, but a sharp corner with aggressive banking is challenging. The rear weight will transfer quickly and kick the back out.

With slicks absolutely. You need at least a accusump to not blow an engine. I was running a accusump in this video. I’ve since moved to a dry sump setup
