Changed my oil, put in the 9.5 qt, dipstick was showing really high. Had to take out 4.5 to 5 qt to put it at top mark on dipstick.

It always helps to either saw the joint between the slabs or to ensure that the joint is clean. Any debris or friction between the slabs can reduce or even prevent movement. I've even seen slabs break just because the joint wasn't cleaned.

Thank you so much for this. I was super hesitant to buy the VEVOR, but seeing this, I might try to do it just like you did. I also didn't want to buy yet another battery that would have to be left on a tender. I have to get it into a very tight storage unit and just like yours, it will barely fit - and I will have to swing the tongue to make it fit.

How do you prevent overshooting and it expanding to much? Anytime I’ve used gap filler foam for other applications the expansion seems unpredictable and varies.

10 cans Great Stuff? Basically trying polyjacking but doesn't address the continued sinking of the ground below, so will be sinking again. Probably wasn't built over solid base, sand, packed road base deep enough. Also water flow issues and clay soils in NW Ohio expansion, shrinkage, freezing repeated cycles...needs a base under the concrete that can flex with the freeze- thaw cycles or just expect this repair to be needed at least annually...
@cincinnatiking800828 күн бұрын
It looks like you made the same mistake I did with the drill bit. That's an SDS bit. It's for an SDS hammer drill. It looks like you have a regular hammer drill. That's why your bit is wobbly, but it seemed to work.

Whoa! Thanks for sharing your project. That was impressive: I didn't think that the Great Stuff spray foam cans would have enough pressure to lift the slab. I have one can of the Great Stuff spray foam and thank God I didn't use it on my truck instead I used 3M Strip Caulk on my rear windshield, cabin pressure vents and third brake light [3M™ Strip Calk, 08578, Black, 1 ft Strips, 60 per carton, 12 cartons per case]

I wouldn't have thought that those cans would have enough pressure to force the foam as far as it needs to go. I'm guessing that's why they drilled multiple holes so close together.
