Vancouver is beautiful. Went there in August 2023 as part of a Alaskan cruise stop. 75°F. Our beer hopping guide said the weather was hot. In Houston, 75°F is perfect. I'm also an introvert. I'm a Field Quality Assurance Specialist for Amazon and I have to talk to Property Managers at apartment complexes and business owners and employees. So yeah, I don't know how I get through it. I guess I have to talk to people when I have to, like you. Keep going strong 💪

This is a lot of good friends. I find that it gets harder as one gets older due to people moving away for better opportunities, having changing life priorities, and meeting certain life milestones and having more life obligations makes meet ups harder and more rare. Cherish what we currently have. It is difficult to get 200k salary in Vancouver beyond career that have much as minimum (e.g. medicine). In general, friends with similar abilities in US earning $300k USD a year (normal white collar career projection in a good company) were getting $120-140k CAD a year in Canada (with Canadian equivalent company). Having dreams and working towards it provides a guidance as time passes quickly and 1 year, 2 years, 5 years, 10 years and even 20 years can soon pass in the blink of an eye.

I'm introvert as well, and just got my career as BA for about 4 months now. I'm still struggling on how to get close to in charge team. There was 200+ team members there, and I don't even know them at all but they know me. And I have to get close to them for work purpose. So its kinda stress for me. Its there any tips or advice?

Life in a marathon and not a sprint. Take good care of yourself and your health and wellbeing. I see some of my friends in their 30s burning out, having or developing health issues which would make their mid 30s and beyond very difficult. Not always the best to do more and more things. Focus on impactful things and be able to delegate to others. Wish you the best.
