Oh. My. God! I just finished the audiobook, the narrator Michael Molla did an exquisite job! I'm a SUCKER for gay romance. I'm also a pup so this book got my giddy! I cannot wait for "Chasing Alpha". I already preordered it! I am not waiting for it to be released on Audible. Plot twist, after plot twist. Just as soon as you think you know how the story is going to go, BAM!, it takes a different turn. You will feel every emotion. You will find yourself screaming at a book. Damn it, I can't wait for 12/17/2023!!!

My guy I preordered that one and finished it within DAYS of the sequels release. Funnily enough that's my next planned video so like, I'm so happy to know the narrator did well, I find that a good narrator can be the difference for some books

I love the way you did this review, you got to the point very fast instead of spending the first 5 minutes on what you were shopping for before you came across with book on amzon. I would have appreciated if you could have mentioned more about the book though, like if the romance progresses upto a certain point in the first book (like if it's mutually reciprocated but complicated), I don't think it counts as spoilers since we already go in expecting the romance. Also curious about if there is issues with the mates being, well, both the same gender, since a lot of werewolf books emphasise on the "Luna". Thanks for the review though, I don't have a lot of money these days so I have to pick and choose which book to buy and this one I'm getting!

To answer some of those curiosities though, there's a slight amount of issue with the Luna situation, as far as the two being concerned about whether they'll be accepted by the alpha or not, and there's definitely some homophobia from a few characters (ergo the main antagonist at the end of the book). As for the romance, their relationship does not progress very far in my opinion, but it sets up for the next one where they will probably end up focusing heavily on it. I felt as though this was very world building angsting pining based with touches and emphasis on the potential for their romance that feels forbidden to them and they do discuss this a few times together throughout the book. I hope this helps!

I don't have a ton of werewolf teen romance under my belt but I liked in deeper waters, so this is ever after, and the vampire kisses books (although the writing for this set is much more juvenile and it's not lgbtq+), but those are a few I liked
